Presa Metal Peg Board Shelving Hooks, 2-inch, 25-pack

These are terrific peg hooks, they feel like quality items and fit the pegboard perfectly. I like that you can get them in several lengths (this review is for the 2" but I have also purchased the 4" and those are equally excellent). I am using them for tools in the garage but they look good enough that you could use them for store displays, etc and the price is much better than I can get at the local big box store for much lower quality peg hooks. I had to cut the ball off the end of one for one specific tool and it took some cutting to do so - these things are made of sturdy stuff! Will definitely order these again if I need more.

I like these a lot. They are heavy duty and seem pretty stable when installed in a sheet metal peg board. My only critique would be that the nob on the end is so fat, that a 1/4 inch box end wrench won’t go through it, so you can’t hang an entire wrench set on them. Works great for the larger wrenches though.

First let me say these measure 3-1/16" from the metal peg board, so this did not work for my application as I have a space of 2-3/4". Marked off one star for not measuring what is advertised. Other than the measurements being off what is advertised this is a very good product. If you do not have the space requirements then they will hold a lot of weight. They stay in 1/4" peg board very well and will not fall out as smaller ones tend to do. Update: I have changed my initial rating from 4 to 5 stars as they allowed me to return the product for a full refund.

These Presa 2” single arm pegboard hooks (25-pak) are sturdy & look exactly like the ad photo. The wire diameter is 0.205” – typical for hooks that fit ¼-inch pegboard. The ad incorrectly states, “designed to fit 1/8” holes” – should be “For ¼-inch pegboard – 0.205” (5.21 mm) dia. wire”. I prefer the hook arm to be horizontal & these angle upward because the arm’s bend is greater than 90 degrees (as photo shows) and the wire will definitely NOT flex down due to the weight of typical items you would hang. But, I reworked all the hooks by clamping tightly in a vise where the weld is - with the arm above the vise jaws & the short end that rests against the pegboard out a bit from the side of the jaws; a few blows with a hammer on that short end makes the bend 90 degrees without breaking any welds (I reworked Presa 4” hooks the same way). With the 2” hook installed on pegboard, the horizontal part of the arm is 1.9” from the pegboard & 3.0 – 3.1” to ball’s end. An item needs a hole larger than 5/16” to fit over the ball.

First, they arrived in a shrink wrapped box, not just thrown in a plastic bag. They are very sturdy and straight, unlike some of the cheaper peg board accessories that you are afraid they will fall out. The only thing to watch out for is the ball on the end of the hook. A small hole on an item you want to hang may not fit over the end. It is perfect for my application though. They are also for 1/4" peg board holes. You may have a difficult time putting them in a 1/8" hole. Overall, it is a great product that should last for many years.

Received these a few days ago and over all they seem to be good hooks, but the round ball on the end is spot welded and the ball itself is way off center. Won't take much to break off the ball tip. They hooks will still be usable but they will need some type of rubber/plastic tips on them. Not sure if I will purchase again, so I can't recommend them.

perfect fit for pegboard. the hook fit tightly into the pegboard holes. great finish on product and they work as described. shipped in a timely manner.

After trying some thin (.120”) gage hooks shown on the right, I decided to purchase these that are much thicker at .200” and stay in place firmly after installation. The pegboard holes are .250” in diameter.
