Three piece Band of Gypsies. Haven’t broken the seal yet…all I gotta do is look at it and I remember the whole thing. I’ve enjoyed this on cassette and disc countless times. It’s a pleasure

I won’t review the music from the album, since there is no need to restate the obvious.I received the album early, and its packaging was great. The album itself sounds great, and I was surprised about the included booklet and poster reprint. The booklet provides a great historical explanation of why this album was made in the first place, and what Jimi Hendrix was going through prior to its recording, namely record contracts from the past with which he still had legal obligations, and he was facing charges.. It also explains how he put this band together.It also comes with a reprinted poster, which I can’t wait to frame and hang up somewhere around the house.Buy this if you like the music for sure. Perhaps you will be surprised by the extras that you didn’t read about in the description like I was!

This is the best of Hendrix. With Billy Cox on bass and Buddy Miles on drums, these 3 men had a power that could move mountains.

This is exactly what I had hoped to find in a new pressing. Very dynamic, live performance. You can hear the air in the room. Very exciting. I've been buying a lot of new vinyl, hoping to find recordings that best represent that medium. This satisfies.Keep watching this spot for new, exciting reviews like this one!Regard,Mark Brady

Excellent sound quality and packaging in the vinyl version. A bit short, but you take what can get from this era and Hendrix. Buy it if you’re a fan.

Absolutely perfect record! The sound is absolutely breath taking. With a great stereo like mine this is like having Jimi playing live in my living room. Truly captivating. I can’t even put it into words. If you want this, then get it!! You will Not regret it. Nuff said!

In piena sintonia con i musicisti-amici della Band of Gypsys, JH sfodera un gran concerto per sonorità e feeling. Consiglio il box "Songs for groovy children: the Fillmore East Concerts" (da cui questo live è tratto) per chi volesse ampliare l'ascolto di quei concerti a cavallo tra 1969 e 1970.

賛否両論があるアルバムですが、バディ.マイルスとジミ.ヘンドリクスが、ボーカルをとっていてバンドの中の1人という感じで、こじんまりとした印象ですが歌もギターもしっかりした演奏で大好き😆💕です。イン.ザ.ウエストあたりのグルーヴ感を求めてもワン.ステージ維持するのは、無理だと思うので名盤ではと思います。この時代は、クリップ式チューニング.メーターなど画期的な物がないので、その辺を割愛してほしいです。

This does look nice but its exactly the same as the 2010 release which is not an all analog pressing, as advertised on the sticker on the front. The US version is. So what happened here i wonder.
