I actually bought this to help explain throat anatomy at a trial. The case settled, so I was able to give the model to my sister, a real ENT doctor, who has found it useful to explain things to patients.

This is a great model with implications for speech language pathology breathing and feeding and speech services

The anatomy at the base of tongue is incorrect! It seems to show 2 vallecular spaces when there should only be one, which is formed with the base of tongue and epiglottis. I’m returning for full refund.

I expected this item to be a little more quality made, but it still get the job done when it comes to learning.
