Worth the money
I was skeptical at first I had to strip some 6/3 soow cable. I looked at the blade and said to myself it’s not going to happen. To my surprise it worked like a charm. Just as it’s advertised it cut thru the jacket and I was able to peel the jacket away from the cable. Now mind me it took a little strength but it did it. I highly recommend if you have some heavy cable to strip this is the tool for the job!Make sure the longest end of the blade is pointing down so you can turn the tool clockwise towards you 3 or 4 times to cut thru the jacket. Once that’s completed without removing the tool from the cable push the tool towards the end of the cable till it’s completely removed from the cable. Now you should be able to peel the jacket off.

Works Great, as advertised.
Works Great, as advertised.

Works, but a bit tricky.
It wants to spiral instead of sit in the groove it's cutting, so I must keep pressure to keep it from moving laterally while spinning it around the wire. But it works better than any other stripper at not nicking the wire.

Do not buy this.
**Review: Disappointing Wire Cutter - Not What It Claims to Be**I recently purchased this wire cutter, drawn in by the claim that it was made in Germany, but my experience has been quite frustrating. It's clear that this tool is actually manufactured in China, which is misleading and disappointing. The performance of the wire cutter is far from satisfactory. The blade struggles to cut through wire, and applying pressure only makes the situation worse. The tool tends to move around rather than providing a clean cut, and when I try to push harder to get through the wire, the adjuster shifts out of place, making the cutting process even more difficult.Overall, this wire cutter does not live up to its promises or expectations. It’s unreliable and poorly designed, and I would strongly advise against purchasing it. There are better options out there that actually deliver on their promises and provide a solid, functional tool.

Best cable stripper
This tool works flawlessly when stripping large fine stranded battery cables. It does take some set up for each different wire size and insulation thickness, but once it’s set correctly, it doesn’t nick any conductors. It even works well on multi conductor SJ style cord, for removing the outer jacket.

Super convenient
Saves time, easy to use. I don’t have to pull back conduit every day in industrial maintenance but when I do, I need to do it fast and this saves time. Would recommend for anyone in the electrical field.

Strips cable well
Works as advertised. Really good on larger cables

This thing doesn't like me.
Cheap, works, tends to spiral up the insulation because the blade is designed to swivel, instead of staying correctly oriented. The reason is skimping; there SHOULD be a tab or something to keep the blade straight, but it is directly attached to the adjuster, apparently. Anyhow, the price is nice but the function is very disappointing. On the other hand, some people love these; I am sure I can give it away instead of throwing it away. I have this sitting on my bench and I'm stripping wires with a razor blade again. At 20 bucks, no loss; if it was 40 I'd be angry.
