Get this version with the ring halo at the top which you will thank yourselves because it helps you to pull it up and take it off on your leg boot or plaster. We did at first buy another version without the halo and it was very very very hard to put on and off until we bought this one and we had no problem. Plenty of room in this size and easy to maintain …. Used over and over …. Into the third week now …. Many showers using it and wish I’d have got this instead of the one that was halo free etc …. Used as leverage when pulling on and taking off…. Don’t worry about being too large as you can pull up the slack etc.

I had surgery to both big toes at the same time, so ordered two of these. I was a little sceptical they would work, but two weeks post surgery now and they have worked perfectly. I definitely needed help putting them on and taking them off, but would suggest that once on, you push down to the ankle to release the excess air, as this made them feel very awkward to walk in and in doing so it made the seal fit better and in the correct position. Make sure you dry the top of the boot and seal before removing, as water collects in the rim.

Got this for my partner to use after his ankle surgeries. it kept the ankle dry whilst allowing him to shower so perfect for his needs. Had to buy it twice though as we threw it away after one surgery thinking he was done but then another came up and we needed the cover again. Went to this brand for the 2nd time. Obviously, it works! :)

Once you have the ‘knack’ for how to use this, it works very well but it is easy to get it wrong. I had only one leak, early on, but every other time it stayed completely dry inside, once I’d worked it out. The key is to make sure the lip of the seal is pointing outwards, and that the air pressure inside the boot is equalised, so that it is neither inflated like a balloon, nor sucked in like a vacuum, either of which can cause a leak. Also maybe try to not over-expose it to the power of the shower spray, and I’d suggest also don’t submerge it in a bath. When you exit the shower, dry it immediately before removing it so that water from outside doesn’t transfer. Finally, it will cause your foot to ‘sweat’ and so if you wear it too long your foot can come out feeling a tad moist but that’s just your own sweat and no more than you’d get from wearing a regular shoe - just don’t wear it for more than a few minutes and you can avoid that causing a problem.

I had a minor operation on the sole of my foot. It fits perfectly and keeps the water out when having a shower.

I don’t know what I would have done without this product after my recent accident. 100% waterproof and allowed me to shower with no worries.

Did the job only thing I didn't like was the manoeuvring it over the wound as you have to pull on the opening to get foot in. Make sure you dry it on the top before taking it off as water collects on top.
