I have a Boston terrier who hates being wet. Got this towel and it dries him off much better and quicker than a regular towel. The human hand holes are perfect!

It dries my pit mix quick! I've even used it to dry her feet off. It just takes the dirt off her feet on dry days! My pup has grown so this was my second purchase because it says LARGE size but it is only 3" longer than original. That's the only drawback. I give 4 stars only because there really needs to be a longer, wider version of this for the bigger dogs. Then it would be perfect! I do recommend this towel because it works as said.

I use mine for my beagador, it does dry the bulk of her fur off, but I still find her damp after using it.I either have to grab another towel to dry her off, or I have to finish drying her off with a hair dryer.

Soooooo superior to toweling or even regular shammies. Dogs love it. I love it. Easy to slip my hands into and rub-a-dub. We call it going "through the carwash", but the old fashioned hand-dry kind.

Works better than a towel to wipe dirt off a dirty dog and to dry them when wet.

Just got this today!!! I was waiting all morning for the delivery alert. Okay, it wasn't what I was expecting when I opened it... I recently got a labradoodle puppy, and I decided I'm going to try giving it baths in the laundry basin while it's still a puppy so that it's a well behaved and trained dog when he goes to the groomer. At first, I used a regular towel because I have plenty of towels... well, the towel ends up being soaked and didn't seem to really absorb the water at all because the puppy would still be wet. Now, I'm sure Amazon is probably listening in on me (I wouldn't be surprised... I mean, it's like Google and Facebook reads my mind whenever something I'm curious about ends up popping up on my phone screen)... so all of a sudden, dog towels shows up on recommendations (probably because Alexa was listening), and after scrolling through a few I saw this one. Okay, first, the comb is thick, sturdy, and wide tooth. I was very happy with the quality and that you even get a comb at all (this is not the cheap plastic combs from the dollar store either). When I took the towel out, I was thinking this isn't big enough to cover my dog... but then I realized you're supposed to stick your hands into the inserts at each end and basically rub your dog dry. This works AMAZING!!! It's very absorbent, and the follicles does a great job getting the fur dry vs. a regular towel. I love it.

These shammy towels work very well. It’s heavier than a regular towel even when dry, but it works fairly fast so it’s a quick workout. My 30lb goldendoodle dries off much faster now and she gets super excited when she sees me coming at her with the blue shaggy monster!!! Great product.
