This knife is great to use when butter is too hard to cut, and spread. It’s kind of like grating the butter without using a grater. I would also love to have one that was almost just like it but without the holes. One that was the same size but for spreading only.

I thought it would work better, but it's definitely better than trying to use a regular knife. The price was good and it works, so I'll keep using it. I'm sure it would work much better if the butter wasn't straight out of the refrigerator.

This is a sturdy knife but it's no more useful than a regular butter knife. Butter doesn't curl through holes like it is supposed to. The straight, serrated edge does the same thing a normal butter knife does so I guess I'll stick with less expensive versions of regular butter knives. Thought I'd give it a try though. It just doesn't work the way is supposed to.

I like this for firm butter fresh out of the fridge, works like a charm, for my arthritic hands the handle part could be a little larger it would be easier to maneuver. they could also do without the hole on the tip .

Absolute rubbish saw a tip on a tv show about grating butter from a fridge to make it spreadable, which actually works. I thought this would in the same way. All it does is lift the butter like any ordinary knife that's 1/5 of the price. Don't waste your time.
