Just what I was looking for! These,are simple, easy to make for,a first time cook. The recipes are for normal meals for kids on the go.

Good recipes. Easy enough for my 10 year old to follow on her own.

Calls for somethings we never heard of but she has fun learning.

I got it for my 10 year old, instructions and recipes are decently easy. For a younger child obviously a parent needs to help but I see where a pre-teen could do some of these alone

Great book for a beginner

I gave this to my 10 year old grandson for Christmas & he's very excited to try the recipes. The book includes conversion tables, explanations on measurements, how to prepare ingredients (chopping, etc.), & the uses of various cookware & utensils, as well as lots of recipes.

Not designed for kid chefs. Most recipes don't have photos, when kids are helping in the kitchen, they want to see a photo of the food with the recipe to help visualize what they are making. This book is more for adults to read, then instruct the child to help rather than allowing the child to choose a recipe and follow the instructions with parental help.
