I make chocolate by putting nibs in a wet grinder with a little melted cocoa butter, grinding for a few hours (lid off) then adding other ingredients and continue to refine for about 24 hours. This is how most craft chocolate (small scale) is made. **Q: Can I melt them in microwave with butter?** A: Hi..I guess that's possible but perhaps rather than microwave your food try using a bain marie..1 small container placed in a pot of warm water on a stove to melt it..at least you can achieve the desirable heat you need..Thanks **Q: Are these nibs roasted or heated in any way ?
