Make harsh Whiskey mellow.
The item is as described. Will need to transfer the Whiskey to a Mason jar or large mouth jar to steep. The dowel/Spiral is too wide to place in the bottle in which the Whiskey came. Will follow up in six weeks after it has had time to mellow.

Would like a narrower diameter, but I just used an empty 1.75 patrone bottle with a big cork and it fits good with that.
