Appliances KT-1900R Tempered Glass Tea Kettles, 1.7-Liter, Red

This was purchased in 2020 from Amazon resale in used mint condition. The electric stopped working in 2026. Used daily and descaled once a year. No issues with it. Great kettle.

I bought this glass tea kettle over a decade ago the first time. The only reason it didn't last longer is that I got the electric element wet and it shorted out. Aargh. So I have a new one now and it's still the same reliable and attractive product. And I'm being super careful with it this time around!

Absolutely love this kettle. Took it to work with me so we could have hot tea in the office. A full kettle created four giant cups of tea for me and my coworkers. It heated up quickly and was an absolute joy to listen to. Several of my coworkers said "I love the sound of that water boiling, it feels good to my ears" -- that's some good white noise right there. My only suggestion is, if you don't wipe it out after use, at least leave the lid open and let it air dry. You don't want water sitting in the kettle and discoloring/rusting the interior. Yes it's stainless, but apply enough heat to stainless enough times and you end up with a weakened state that is susceptible to staining and rust.

The only feature I do not like is when you remove the pot from the base and then return it after pour, it does not auto shut off. You have to reclick the button. I feel once removed from base it should shut off.

What a fun appliance to have in the kitchen that lights up when hot water is made. I've had now for over a year and it is still going strong.

The electric kettle was exactly what I wanted. I was looking for the red one, glass, 1.7 L . The one I’ve got is inexpensive, heating fast, shutting off automatically, and has a nice feature of bright blue light while brewing. Love it!

This is a great appliance to own. I love how quickly it boils water, and, keeps it hot for quite a while. This is the second one we have owned and I would recommend it to anyone.

I loved the color of the tea kettle, however, it takes too long for the water to boil. It is beautiful when it does boil. But not worth the length of time to get a cup of water.

La jarra es muy bonita. El color rojo luce muy bien. Lo único es que el vidrio de la tetera es delgado. La ocupo con mucho cuidado. Todo lo demás funciona excelente.
