A Delightful Read
I did not want to put this book down! As I read, I felt I was becoming just as invested as Jamie in saving the bookshop. I wanted to know what would happen next. Author Teri Wilson wrote a charming, engaging page turner! Well done.

LOVED This Sweet Story!!
I was already a Teri Wilson fan, but have just found my new favorite book by this talented author. The Story Of Us captured me from the beginning, and I didn't want to stop reading. A perfect story for Valentine's Day or anytime---year-round! If only the charming town of Waterford was real, I'd visit and stop by the True Love Bookstore to see Eliot the cat. The author made this town and the characters come alive for me, and the satisfying ending completed this perfect romance. FIVE STARS!!

A small-town love story, what more could you ask for?
Review: The Story of UsBy: Teri WilsonPublished by: Hallmark PublishingFirst a movie, then adapted into book form, this story is incredible in both versions. Hallmark, you have done it again (and Teri Wilson of course). A small-town love story, what more could you ask for?Jamie Vaugh owns a romance book store called True Love Bookstore and Cafe. It is her pride and joy and all she’s ever wanted in her lifetime. Except for one day, she finds a letter in the mail stating that a company is planning a new retail development to bring more business into the town due to recent local businesses struggling, which would cause the current business to close. What makes it even worse, is that the architect for the proposed development is none other than her high school sweetheart Sawyer, whom she has not seen in 15 years since they broke up and he left for college.Jamie and Sawyer both realize that there are certainly still leftover emotions between the two of them that didn’t dwindle over their 15 years apart, though Jamie is torn between going with her emotions and saving her bookstore. Jamie puts all of her efforts into saving the businesses of Waterford and convincing store owners why they love the business district the way it currently is and to not sign the contracts for the new development. However, at the same time, Sawyer is trying to convince store owners why the new development is necessary. Jamie discovers a box of valentines hidden in her store from previous owners of the bookstore and finds it’s the perfect thing needed to help save the store; that and helping Sawyer realize what he left behind and his old love for Waterford (and Jamie). So what’s in store for Jamie, Sawyer, and the town of Waterford? Read the book to find out! (Or watch the movie I guess).I give this book 4 out of 5 stars as it is a great romance novel with all my favorite parts of Hallmark: boy and girl are enemies, boy and girl fall in love. I could do with it having a little more story development in the reconnection between Jamie and Sawyer rather than just jumping back into it as if nothing else happened over the past 15 years. But overall, a very good read and would highly recommend this book by Teri Wilson. I’m looking forward to reading many other books of hers (as she has written many Hallmark books!).Similar to my other Hallmark review, this book’s target audience is for all romance lovers. It has a good storyline and great relationship development between not only Jamie and Sawyer, but also other characters throughout the book.Give it a read and let me know what you think!*I received this book from Hallmark Publishing to read and review*

Sweet romance with some twists
This book was a True Love Story. It starts with a young woman who stays in her small town because she wants to be there. She buys the book store, True Love, which has always been a part of her life.Suddenly there is a developer who wants to re-do the downtown area of her little town and she rises to cause and defends her place mightily. But wait, he high school sweetheart who left town, never to return, is back and she find him to be the person in charge of the renovation. She gathers all of her friends together, but has difficult feelings on just what might happen. oOu will need to read to find the story of old Valentines found at this time and what becomes of everyone involved. Oh yeah, her best friend and another friend might make some True Love as well.

Cute Valentine's Day Story
This is a cute Valentine's day story that will be a Hallmark Movie, I believe premiering in February 2020. The story of Jamie and Sawyer is a easy to read and I think I finished it in two sittings. Jamie is trying to save her beloved book store and Sawyer is the, former high school love, architect who has come back to town to renovate the town's shopping area. I actually found myself more interested in the love story between their best friends Lucy and Rick. Overall a sweet Valentine's Day read, just don't expect a twist.

An adorable romance!
I adored The Story of Us by Teri Wilson!Based on the Hallmark Channel Original Movie with the same name, The Story of Us follows True Love Bookstore owner Jamie as she tries to save her bookstore and the town's charming business district from being taken over by a developer eager to tear everything down and start from scratch. Going after a developer is a tough task for any business owner, but it gets even harder when Jamie discovers the developer's architect is none other than her high school sweetheart Sawyer. Jamie hasn't seen Sawyer since he broke up with her 15 years ago but the more time they spend together, the more Jamie realizes that she never really got over Sawyer. With her beloved bookstore and now her heart on the line, Jamie will have to think outside the box if she's going to save bookstore and get a second chance at love with Sawyer.Teri Wilson did such an incredible job telling Jamie and Sawyer's story of second chance love. I felt like I was watching the movie unfold before my eyes with each new chapter. I loved getting into both Jamie's and Sawyer's heads to see how they handled facing off against each other and rediscovering their feelings for each other. I also enjoyed the subplot of Lucy and Rick's romance.I look forward to reading more of Teri Wilson's Hallmark Publishing novels.

Sweet romance
The Story of Us is a sweet, heartwarming Valentine’s Day romance. I really enjoyed the plot, the décor, the main characters and the writing style. It flows well and it contains a lot of Jane Austen references, among other classics. It’s a pleasant, feel-good, cozy read to enjoy anytime of the year.
