This means the joins aren't as sharp as a welded one but many aren't perfectly aligned, so I had to spend a while straightening them out with some pliers so that there aren't any sharp edges to scratch my seasoning too much. Other than that, it's made of decent steel and removes food residue well without scratching seasoning too much.
