A really nice reel. Outstanding features for the price point. Highly recommend this product although Amazon shipped a “left” handed reel when I ordered a “right” handed reel.

The Tournament Pro is a nice reel. But, unfortunately for some odd reason, they are not available with the 8.3:1 gearing in left hand retrieve. They also come with the battle grip paddles instead of Winn round knobs. I fixed that, and even managed to come up with black and gold end caps to match the rest of the reel. I have done this with 3 of these.

Update. The noise has gotten worse and the reel now vibrates when casting. I am having to send it in for warranty service. My 2 year old daiwas don’t make noise still.I love how the reel feels in hand and it will cast very light lures, BUT I hate how noisy this reel is when casting. Quiet cast brake my butt! I have Daiwa, and shimano baitcasters, and none are noisy when casting. Come to find out, it is common with the lews. I wouldn’t buy another one, because of the noise.

Great reel.. handles light lures better than my Curado MGL..easy to cast and avoid backlashes..I got 2 TPs, 2 MPs, Curado MGL, SLX MGL, Hakai and few others for comparison .. happy with all for different purposes

I have other Lews reels in this price range (that I bought on sale) and when I saw the deal on this reel I jumped on it. In hindsight, I wish I’d paid up sooner and bought this model sooner.It’s the best of the bunch of Lews reels in this price range. If I see it again at the price I paid, I’ll buy 2.

Like everything about this real Nothing to dislike

The product supplied was of great quality the only problem it was the wrong item - not as per advertised (Left hand wind return instead of right as advertised)
