Can you generate a random KW1 shaped key out of these blank ones? Or, you need some master key?

Yes you can cut a KW1 key to any bitting, however, your lock will need to be rekeyed to match the new key bitting

Do you have a variety box?

These are UNCUT keys. If you need Pre-Cut keys that are ready to use with something like a Smartkey lock then you would need to look at an item such as Amazon item B00115YD4W. If you need a "pack" with multiple styles of keyways (i.e. some SC1, some KW1, some Weiser, some miscellaneous) then I believe there are sellers offering custom bundles of miscellaneous commonly used keys but I've never seen such a thing offered as a UPC coded retail ready item from a manufacturer - they are all just sets that various sellers put together from generic keys.

I have to tell you that these keys were perfect for what I wanted

I have to tell you that these keys were perfect for what I wanted. I was looking for keys that were blank...you know moldable and ready to be shaped into a key that could open doors. And boy did they work. I have had no problems with the keys. Once we put them in our "key making machine" they easily are "cut" and these cuts correspond to peaks and valleys in the lock they are intended to unlock! Yep...if there was ever a better produce for unlocking a door, I have not experienced it. Tip: use safety goggles when shaping (aka cutting) your new blank keys. Tip2: These are KW1 keys if you try to shape them with a SW1 key you will FAIL. You will fail like Trump in the general election.

The keys came in 50 count boxes instead of a 250 box. I like the 250 box because it’s more sturdy but overall the blanks came and the order was correct and I will be able to keep copying keys.
