With the right handle, this might be the best blades for your money.
These fantastic blades are smooth, sharp and hold its edge quite well overtime. Excellence for beginners from cartridge razor. But to gets the most out of them, you will need a quality handle that works for you.Allow me to explain:I have a very thin and little facial hair to begin with, but I have sensitive skin that would get razor burn with bad (or worn) blades. Had been using cartridge razor for years. Gave these razer blades a try 2 years ago, and there is no turning back.If being use correctly, on a mild handle, I can make 3-5 shave on each side of the blade without feeling any drop off of performance (of cause it very depends on how thick or many your hair are). And they are so smooth, I even once try to use them to shave under the belt with them, and it shave closer than any 5 blades cartridge razor I owned ( of cause I have to do it very carefully, tiny and slow pass only). My lady had been using these blades with her legs, and she has nothing to complain about the shave, especially when she notice how much cheaper it is compare to the cartridge razor. However I did once forgot to bring my Merkur handle with me on a trip, so I got a cheap handle on the go, and it makes these blades quite harsh to my skin. It still does the job, but I feels it cut too deep and thinning my skin a bit too much. So if you came across any razor burns or cuts, you might want to try with a better handle and/or more shaving cream. Overall, 10 out of 10 on the smoothness and sharpness (with the right handle), and I can ensure you it will beat any cartridge razor on value and still having close and clean shave everyday.

Good DE blades, Reasonable Price
No complaints, these are quality blades at a reasonable price. Used in a DE razor.

Great every day shaving blade!
I have used Astra blades for years in my DE shavers. I've used them in Mekur Future, Weishi, King Gilette, and no named knock off DE and opencomb razors with great results. On average I get about three shaves and sometimes can stretch to 4-5. Ive used Feather($$), Shark, Personna, Wilkinson, Dorco (HATE EM), Gillette, and Derby. Cycling them through different razors for the best shave. Since i have to shave daily for work, I use this blade with my King Gilette to reduce razor burn. They aren't feather sharp but in a rush you don't want that. They are an overall great value and buying in bulk only makes sense. AAA+++

The Best!
I like closeness of a real razor shave. These and the Japanese "Feather" are the best I've ever found. Serious Five Stars!

A original better quality blade from Gillette.
After spending money on Gillette's fusion series (£23 for 16 in Costco) these will last 62 days. This lot cost £28 sterling from the USA and will last about 18 months, not much to think about there. As for the blades themselves they are good quality made by Gillette in Russia, they give a smooth shave and last about three days with me, someone else may get more depending on how your stubble is. I bought this lot on December 27th they arrived on January 4th, pretty fast. these go in my Parker 99r or 98r depending on the length of growth. the only bugbear is the packaging, they come in packs of 5 card boxes, the blades are wrapped in wax paper as usual, this is to keep the cost down, to dispose of used blades I recommend you slide them back into the original packet and when full place them in a transparent plastic bag so any anyone handling the recycling can see them and hopefully avoid the obvious risk. One further moan, why don't they make these in the USA as they used to, I'm sure America is perfectly capable of manufacturing them, as are we in the UK, but what do I know?

Cheap, good, and everything I want in a blade
I've been using Astra Premiums for a decade. I bought 100 of 'em in 2013, and as that box ran out, I bought 300 in 2019--and I paid $10 more for 'em back in 2019 than you will today. Take that, inflation!it's 2023. I'm nowhere near out. Get yourself a good double edge razor handle (I like Standard Razor's handle, but I'm sure there are plenty of good ones here on Jeffy Beezy's Rainforest Omnistore). The only problem is that they're made in Putinistan, and I'm not exactly thrilled about giving money to Russians at this point in history. But I still use 'em because I've got an entire drawer full of 'em in my bathroom.

Best low cost blades
I use these for tattoos. I shave the people then dump the blade in the sharps container. These glide nicely, but every now and again I am not as careful and people get cut. Mostly it’s due to angle than the blade, but I have tried more expensive blades and they are less aggressive.I settled on these because of the expense. I throw out every blade after a single use. If you are in the business of shaving people I would get these for sure.
