after reading other reviews i decided to try these radial brushes. firstly because they were affordable and only a small amount in the pack if it was proved to be as unusable as reported. needed to experiment for myself to make a fair judgement. there are 5 grades in the pack and 3 of each. there are no instructions which way to attach to the mandrel so i just looked at the picture on the amazon page after putting them on incorrectly at first. what a surprise that on a low speed this worked perfectly to high polish some copper wire and silver jewellery. i will definately be buying more at some point but these may last some time afterall.

These are simple nylon discs - there is no difference between any of them and are completely ineffectual. I've had them under a microscope. Don't waste your money.After some experimentation - I am upgrading this review. They ARE useful, though I'm still not convinced there is much difference between the colours.

Firstly, they are cheap amazon tools so I’m not sure what people are expecting from these little things.They do break quickly IF you put them on in the wrong direction.They look like they don’t have grit but if you mindlessly have a little nibble on one like I did you will soon feel the grit.The most annoying thing is as people say, the grit number is not written on the things but just write it down then you’ll always have a reference.Other than that they’re not bad for what you pay. Use them gently and in the right direction and you’ll be fine. Ish. Still cheap mass made stuff though so don’t expect a miracle.

OK for the money does the job

These are phenomenal for the price compared to other sellers. They are great! I use them on homemade silver jewelery

I had to give this one star only because there are no minus values to choose. These are plastic brushes, they have absolutely no abrasive properties. I used them to tidy up the “fuzzies” on a piece of relief carving. The only contribution they made was to colour the wood - and it was larch - not a hard timber. Please don’t buy these.

Bought these as I couldn’t get the Scotch Bright wheels. Not a great replacement: thick and scratchy rather than abrasive, you can’t get into those small areas in jewellery with them.

They aren't too bad. My biggest niggle is that the grit isn't mentioned and you have to remember which colour is which. They should print it on each one.
