Actor's delight
This was bought for my daughter to use in her college drama make up class for a project, and it was a great product to complete the work and at a very reasonable price. I was even able to get it to her faster for her last minute need with the expedited shipping service.

excellent for faux facial hair
This product was used for a moustache and beard for my Jack Sparrow cosplay costume. Initially, i thought there was not going to be enough product that was delivered, but once straightened, there is more than enough: straighten only short segments at a time, preserving the coiled crepe hair for future applications. I had previously used prefabricated facial products but the look was "artificial", and the moustache and beard kept falling off. This Mehron product, while taking a little more time to apply definitely gives a more realistic, durable look. I applied the hair with Prosaid. This is an excellent adhesive, and can be a bit messy to work with. But careful application of the adhesive with cotton tipped applicators to your skin, waiting for the adhesive to become tacky and then pushing the trimmed edge of the hair to the skin with another utensil (i used a piece of a wooden chopstick), keeps your fingers free of the tacky glue. I would also recommend working in small sections at a time; you can thereby modify your technique and amount of hair to give the desired result. In a couple of areas, i did not apply enough hair, so i simply dabbed just a bit more adhesive over the thin areas and applied additional Mehron. Don't apply too much adhesive over these thin areas, for while the adhesive is somewhat transparent, too much glue could be visible and detract from the final look. I applied longer lengths of hair, then trimmed to my desired length afterwards. With this adhesive, the moustache and beard stayed in place for over 9 hours, until i removed them after the fair. I had NO issue with contact dermatitis from the glue, as some had reported. And I would definitely recommend the Prosaid adhesive remover, as there is residual adhesive after removing the hair. The Prosaid remover is pungent, but tolerable. I would offer this: do not overly steam/heat treat the crepe hair product, as it may become excessively straightened, looking a little less realistic IMHO. So, I think this is an excellent product for facial hair. Delivery was prompt. I can recommend this product and supplier.

Absolutely PERFECT
I decided to be cheeky and go to a family Halloween party as my brother who's in the DEA. He's growing out a bit of a beard, so I set out to get one myself for as cheap as possible. Not gonna spend a lot on a one-time costume. I had two options. 1) Get a realistic looking beard and use something like spirit gum, or 2) Buy one of those fake wearable beards that have a light adhesive or no adhesive at all. Well after looking everywhere, I couldn't find any cheap beards that looked realistic, and the fake ones you can wear looked so bad I couldn't bring myself to order. After seeing this YouTube video titled, "Makeup for the Theatre: Crepe Wool Beard 6/6" I realized I could probably make my own beard with crepe hair or crepe wool. Even if I failed, it would be worth the shot. I got some eyelash adhesive from Walmart, this hair arrived really quickly, and then went to work. What you see in the attached photo is about an hour or work. My first time doing anything like this as well. It went great, and everyone loved the way it looked. They couldn't believe how realistic it felt and looked. If I can do this, you can do it!Highly recommend this product. I will say that you probably only need one unit of this braid. I ordered two just in case, but you can see the big beard I made, and I just used about 90% of the first.

Ideal for replicating gray hair.
This product is fantastic for simulating gray hair, whether for a goatee or beard. It arrives in an incredibly compact braid that continuously unravels. Its length seems endless! The texture is quite wavy, so if you desire a straightened appearance, steaming is necessary. Ideal for Halloween!

Très réaliste
A utiliser avec une colle de maquillage efficace, mais l'effet est bluffant même en étant pas une maquilleuse professionnelle.
