Oak Infusion Spiral - French Light Toast - 8"

My husband is a bourbon drinker, I am not. I saw this advertised on TikTok and thought I'd give it a try for him. We bought the absolute cheapest bourbon we could find. I made 3 jars. Filled all 3 with the same booze, put the same size chunk of oak spiral in each jar. Kept in a dark cool spot. He taste tested the first jar at 2 weeks, still not great. Jar #2 at 4 weeks, better. Jar #3 at 6 weeks, much better. He said jar 3 was almost good. Then he tried jar #2 again, at 8 weeks and said it was very good. We took the spiral out at that point. This was a fun experiment and apparently it does work.
