It was extremely sturdy and finally broke (while I was using it) earlier this year. This is not as sturdy and is thinner /smaller and not as substantial, so I worried about it slipping off when toning my thighs, but it doesn't. It is comfortable and stays put. I will use it every day, and I expect it to last quite some time. It definitely gives the resistance that I need.

This is not as sturdy and is thinner /smaller and not as substantial, so I worried about it slipping off when toning my thighs, but it doesn't. It is comfortable and stays put. I will use it every day, and I expect it to last quite some time. It definitely gives the resistance that I need.

I like it. I used to have the original Thigh Master and it was just too big and bulky for me. This one is smaller and works perfect. I am able to use it on my arms and well as legs. It is just easier to manage for my small arms. The tension is about right for my arms, but it does not have much resistance for my legs. I think it will depend on how strong you are as to whether the tension will be right for you. I am trying to work on my arms mainly, so this is great for me. It does not take up a lot of room to set beside my chair. I use it in the evenings while watching tv. For the price, I think it is a great value.
