The RCH-101ORU Patented Orange Universal Radio Chest Harness is a low profile two way radio carrying solution. The height adjustment radio pouch will allow your medium to large two way radio to fit perfectly in this radio holster. Has three torso adjustment tabs to provide maximum comfort. Creates a "Hands free" working environment, holds your radio safe and secure on the upper left side of your chest. Other features include a zippered rear pocket for storage of small items. Chest harness can also be worn inside or outside most jackets and vests. Adjustable Velcro pouch will hold radio's 4-3/4" to 9" tall radios. Fully adjustable to fit both men and women. There is a bit of adjustment to the feel (back soreness minor). I choose this because I don't like tool belts and having a radio in my back pocket was causing me issue in tight spots. **Q: Is the strap around the torso elastic or does it restrict breathing in high activity such as Running and training?**

**Q: Will a baofeng f8hp ham radio fit? it is about 4.25" tall. description says 4.75" to 9" radios. still could make it work by twisting the hold down.**
A: Thank you for your inquiry. You are correct your Baofeng F8hp will fit inside the pouch if the hold down is shortened. We recommend the RCH-103 for smaller radios, or the RCH-101 which now comes with both large and small radio pouches. Thank you, Holsterguy

The RCH-101ORU is designed for the upper left side of your chest, but we get a lot of individuals that just pull it over to right side to use.

This right sided holster is currently unavailable , but if we keep getting the amount of requests for it. I’m sure the owner will produce them by summer.

Picked this up to replace an aging harness I had been using and so far it's been a solid upgrade. Our radios are rather old and massive but with the adjustable base, I had no issues with it fitting in place and staying snug, especially with the elastic top strap to avoid any side to side issues. Still need to dial in the exact fit so I get things off to an angle as the photo shows but with 3 adjustment options, it fit me just fine (6'2, 200 - may be a squeeze if if your chest is really built) and really did a nice job of distributing the weight around to keep it off my shoulder. On my feet for a full day, climbing 4,000 - 6,000' of vert and 8-12 miles with a full pack on and no comfort issues so far. The orange is however intense, but black was out of stock so making it work.
