Pros: The lamp looks ok when installed and is fairly bright and not blinding - light is directed sideways and to reflect from the ceiling. The mounting box is big enough to easily conceal the cables.Cons: Build quality is cheap - even cheaper than expected based on the price. Wire caps stripped as soon as I started on them - had to get different ones. Cables are extremely thin and hard to use even in smaller wire caps. Ended up adding some electrical tape to make sure they stay together.Material of the box is extremely thin - it bent in when securing to the mounting plate. Provided screws are incorrect type - they work, but they don't screw in flash against the sides.Instructions are absolutely horrendous - wording is clearly a computer translation without any spell checking and illustrations - they make Ikea instructions look like the work of Monet comparing to what you get. If it wasn't for video on Amazon page, I would have ended up sending it back.Even after installing it, I don't even dare to guess what they mean by this phrase on the instructions: "Mother terminal wire positive and negative, please according to the wire color butt plug"

Looks nice once installed, this one puts off very bright white light. Directions say it will not work on a light dimmer on wall, but that the remote should have that dimming functionality. (See below, it did not come with a remote & the replacement remote I cannot get to work) the material is (plastic) thin and lightweight (makes it easier to lift & install!) but I was unable to use the feature to change the light hue b/c first shipment no remote was included. Other reviews indicated the remote is difficult/ doesn’t work - consistent with my experience. once I received it, neither my electrician or I can get the remote to work.have spent more $ on my electrician back and forth to do install / take down / reinstall than I have on the fixture :(You get what you pay for - this is a value fixture.Wasn’t an issue for me, but the note: the Layout of the rectangles cannot be changed so see assembled metrics before purchasing/putting together.Overall, ok fixture for price!

I did not encounter any of the installation or assembly problems others have described. The new "box" easily covered the existing standard light fixture rough in box . The remote control dimmer and Kelvin temperature adjustment is worth the money. It allows you to balance the brightness to coordinate with other room lighting and adjust the hue to whatever works best in your room.

I got this light for my office/game room and was excited about but now I am merely ok with it. First off, the instructions were awful so it took the electrician 2 hours to put the thing together and install it. Secondly, it does look a bit flimsy and the remote came without any instructions and some of the buttons on it don't appear to do anything. Lastly, the light makes a buzzing sound in some settings which is annoying. I was hoping it would work with my smart dimmer but it does not and in fact if the dimmer is accidentally turned off, this light will reset which is kind of annoying... so overall, if I could easily uninstall and return it I would, but it is not worth the cost.Those problems aside, now that it is installed, it looks nice, and is bright and it is useful to have the remote.I reached out to the seller to ask about the instructions and the buzzing sound but have not heard back. I will update my review if I hear back with satisfactory resolution.

A great idea but cheap quality. The actual pieces are not perfectly rectangular and the rubber strip hiding the actual light doesn’t quite fit completely how it is supposed to. Very easy to put together and had a professional actually install it. But the light stopped working after 2 weeks. It’s really too bad because the light was very bright and the look was very modern and elegant for my office.

Assembly- instructions- typical Chinese "figure it out yourself from the s**t diagram". If you are handy though the assembly no big deal.The fixture-1)sort of good looking once it's been adjusted and flushed (tweaked) along the ceilings linear plane. Lots of light.2) The power supply and therefore the fixture- 100% fail with about 30 cycle/sec. flickering -( ie. on/off) after 3rd or 4th time being powered on through a single gang switch and 120v single phase AC current- (ie. USA/Canada/ etc.)My rating- 2/5

I like the modern look and it is close to the ceiling. I do recommend paying a little more for the dimmable model. The led light can go from dim to very bright. Plus I do like the different shades of light you can choose. It is a little tricky to put together it’s almost like a puzzle. But all in all I truly enjoy seeing it in my main entry I have gotten a lot of compliments. So I would recommend this stylish Led dimmable light !

This light is super cute in the space. It’s really bright. Clear instructions would have been handy. There was a video the was amazing but it was out of stock when we put the light up and we couldn’t access the video at the time. We had to create a base for the fixture because it would not cover the round box in the ceiling. Easily done. I wish it was dimmable, but at least we can see our food in the dining room. Room is 12x14 or so and open on one end to the living room.

First off, the lights are wonderful. Measure so you know how big/small these will be..they look bigger in the pictures, but dont let that fool you. These lights give off a very bright LED light and are modern looking. NOTE: order th optional bigger face plates as you will need them in North America, unless you use very small electical openings (but this is not standard sizes, so be aware). The bigger plates are free.That said, the best feature of these lights are the customer service. I installed the lights incorrectly and required new drivers. They shipped them FREE (but 30.00 shipping from China), and the new drivers arrived within a few weeks. They contacted me several times throughout this time to let me know they were on the way. THIS is how you do good service. I will definately order from them again.

Light fixture looks very nice and when turning on the light switch the glow was perfect but to actually get to that point is a load of work. We had to modify mounting bracket to hold the light -bracket doesnt match with standard Canadian light mounts. The next problem was the remote doesn't communicate with the light for the dimmable feature So we can turn off and on but remote dimmable feature doesn't work even after trying multiple times to program it as per the instructions that comes with the light. After 2 days of tinkering disappointed with results. Thinking of returning this and getting the cheaper non dimmable version.After more tries - we got the remote to communicate - When ordering this - remember it will not be a simple mount. But the results are so worth it.

Love the looks, easy to install.Only problem on our side : the lamp is connected to a switch that controls other lamps, so I when I switch them off, very often when I turned them back on the light does not “remember” the last settings.So basically if I set it to warm and low, turn off the switch then turn it on again the lamp will turn on bright and strong.They could have put a small battery in there to “store” the settings regardless if the lamp has power or not.Otherwise I love the looks.

I do not recommend to purchase this product.I like the design. That is the reason I purchase this light.However terrible instruction manual and it was so hard to install it.The instruction manual is pretty terrible,so we had to figure out by ourselves.It was hard to screw because the size of the screw holl on the mounting box and screw hall on the light does not fit.I thought I had to return it.Another hard part was to install the ceiling because of the design.Looks great,but I don't recommend it.

TERRIBLE instructions. Poor craftsmanship of the light and assembly. I have experience installing lights and this was by far the most difficult and frustrating experience I have encountered.The remote works and the lights turn on. If you want to be frustrated and confused definitely a great purchase.Once installed the pieces don't line up and screws are not color matched . Definitely looks cheap from certain angles.If it didn't take me 3 hours to put this together and install I would return.Poor experience overall. Don't bother with this garbage.
