Long Form JHorror
The first season of The Terror is a wonderful adaptation of Dan Simmons' book. When I heard they were doing a second season, my first reaction was, with what? After watching it I consider it one of the boldest short form I've seen. It is an encompassing story from 1941 to the post WWII area with a community of Japanese Americans. It dives deep into the discrimination, the internment camps, and the culture. The characters are given room to grow and do.Then there's the horror story. JHorror is it's own subgenre and has been since the Ring. Infamy goes back to the origins of Japanese ghost stories. The Japanese ghost is a member of the community and can be your next door neighbor. That is what makes it frightening. Yuko the ghost here has an agenda. Her interactions with the main characters are not always evil.I won't give any spoilers. Infamy is a brilliant story that had me crying at the end. It is scary with both its human and ghost characters. Please make a season 3 as brilliant.

Looking forward to next season
I've followed the series and I gotta say, it's a departure from the Franklin expedition of season one but in a good way. I'm looking forward to season three.

A truly brilliant follow up to season one
This was a brilliant follow up to season one. The storytelling was what you’d expect and the acting superb. Each main character came across flawed, complex and painstakingly developed, as were the supporting cast. The actual horror is uncomfortable and very well done. Clichés and caricatures are non existent, even some of the shows villains deserve a little sympathy. All in all this is one of the best series available to watch.

Pretty well made and an education as to how the Japanese living in America where treated as the US enterd world war two, but the story drags a bit and it was a dissapointment to me compared to The Terror series 1

Doesn't work, even on a multi-region Blu-ray player
This isn't a comment on the actual series, I very much enjoyed the first and looked forward to the story moving forward. I have a multi-region blu-ray player. When I bought this it said it was Region A. I've played other region A discs on the player. This one came up with a warning there was a discrepancy between the player and the disc. Not best pleased.
