This is a surprising good thermos carafe. I fill it with coffee around 5:00 to 6:00 in the morning and the coffee is still hot 12 hours later after I return home from work. Seriously, it really keeps the coffee steaming hot 12 hours later. Its a glass thermos which seems to keep liquids hot much longer than the metal thermos carafes. Anyway, I endorse this product cause it works. As a bonus, the retro look annoys my wife. That makes it more special.

I bought this thermos because of the glass capsule inside (most brands offer a metallic one) - but I need to brew herbal teas, so glass is necessary. I didn't expect much, and I was going to be disappointed. But after conducting the first test test with hot water, I was pleasantly surprised - this thermos keeps heat for more than a day and the herbs brew perfectly. The cozy home design is also very pleasing. Now this thermos has taken a permanent place in my kitchen, and in the morning I don't have to fuss and brew herbs, a ready-made hot infusion is waiting for me overnight. Thanks to the manufacturers, wonderful products, a great helper for m as a hostess!

It’s ok. Not so good, not so bad

The thermos hold heat for at least 6 to 7 hours of hot coffee and also in our old house. The design of the craft is very attractive.

This is my third AceChef. the coffee stay hot will into the afternoon. LOVE IT!

Good item for the price. Useful

This is great for keeping my water hot. It’s hot the next morning when I make it the night before. Also very light weight. Just remember it’s glass inside so you have to handle it carefully or else you will break the glass inside. I like the old school look.

I bought this on my quest to end up with TWO big mugs of HOT coffee in the morning (36 oz.) I wanted GLASS, which holds heat better than steel, and VACUUM, which holds heat better than air. This was the only glass-lined, allegedly vacuum carafe I could find on Amazon. Amazon also had a big RSVP Manual Drip Coffee Filter Cone for Carafes or Thermos . Sadly… the two do not work well together. The cone's small platform won't balance on top or inside the rim of this pretty carafe. I have to hold it in place while pouring nearly boiling water, and have been splashed a few times. I wonder how other reviewers made their HOT coffee before they put it in this carafe? Even when I preheat the carafe and use boiling water, my second mug of coffee, poured within an hour, is very warm,but not hot. Disappointing, but since I like the carafe… I'm drinking that second cup sooner. :D

Looks retro-great; I love the design and how hot it keeps liquids for up to half a day. It was a great investment for our family.

Good price but doesn’t keep coffee as hot as I would like. But the stainless steel are worse
