Hits of Abba

Always enjoyed ABBA music when it was most popular but was never a rampant fan...it was more a part of the soundtrack of my life but I didn't feel a need to pay them close fan attention. However, I was surprised that most of the ABBA songs played this way were not so easily identifiable as their music, except on 'Money Money Money' & 'Mama Mia.' The rest had parts to pop up that would make a casual listener say, 'That sounds like ABBA,' but not maybe the exact song name. That isn't to say the music isn't wonderful because I appreciate almost everything the Royal Philharmonic does & find the concept brilliant of covering popular songs symphonically, especially since it is music we are likely to know & love already.

This version of ABBA done by a Philharmonic orchestra makes it seem like new music. I bought one for a friend also, Great CD
