Great replacement battery
The battery has been charging, holding a charge and working as intended for over a year now

Disappointing
Battery worked for a few months and now it will shut off after 1 minute of vacuuming and will not turn on again until a few minutes later. Battery Uninstalled and installed, still shuts off 1 minute later. Installed the old battery originally came with vacuum and works better.

Worked perfect
My Dyson, vacuum cleaner finally crapped out. I wasnโt sure if this was going to work as it is an aftermarket battery. However, once I received it, it charged up very easily, and was easy to connect to my Dyson. So far so good seems to be working great.

Not a perfect fit causing a problem
The DTK battery shell is not as close a fit to allow the Dyson head latch to fully engage. To keep in the Dyson head we have to exert pressure on the base of the DTK battery every 30 seconds when the Dyson is in use. We are talking about the DTK battery being about 1 mm too long to allow the latch to fully engage. Otherwise, the battery works.

Not worth the trouble
I purchased one of these for my dyson that had stopped working and the dyson people told me that it needed a new battery but that they didn't have any in stock. Received it and installed no problem, except after 24 hours of charging, it didn't work. So back it went via Amazon returns. Ha, I thought, must have been a dud...what are the chances that it will happen again. Well, lightning struck again and the second one that I ordered from the same company acted the same way...installed without problems, but after 24 hours of charging, not a peep out of it. Can't remember that old adage...fool me once, dadada, fool me twice...dadada.. Well there won't be a third time and I can't in good conscience recommend this product at all...DO NOT BUY unless you like returning Amazon products.

Not recommend
it fits and works, but does not stay long. It will run for about 10 min on the boost mode.

Stopped holding a full charge
Worked for about 3 months, now will not hold a charge. I get about 10 minutes of use even though it reports 30 minutes of usage left, just dies and indicates it needs a charge.
