Road Top Newest Wireless Apple Carplay Wired Android Auto Car Multimedia Player, 7" LCD Touchscreen Monitor Bluetooth Navigation System (Real Plug and Play Device)

I've been looking to order this for the last 6 months and saw a lot of poor reviews on here but recently they seemed to be getting better so bit the bullet and £300 later it was ordered.Having seen a few reviews about it moving at times when driving I used some 3m pads I already had to fully secure the unit to the dash as I fitted it.Screen is very clear and touch responsiveness works really well, I have no aux port so using the FM transmission which is good, slight crackle at times but I could probably solve that picking a new station to sync to but perfectly fine to listen to with the volume cranked.Things I'd like different would be for the power supply to USB and not connected to a cigarette charger, but the big one would be a larger wider screen, something pushing towards 9 inches would be insane but this will do for now. Saves having to get a third party head unit fitted, I always prefer to keep cars stock as much as possible.I haven't tried the reverse camera yet but will likely get that fitted once the lockdown ends in the UK

The actually device works well. It was relatively easy to set up and a good solution if you don't want to replace your car stereo. The reason for the one star rating is the stand. The stand fixes well to the windscreen however the fixing to the actual unit is very poor. Hit a bump in the road and expect the unit to jump off the stand and fall to the floor of the car which is not great when you are driving or for the long life of the unit. I contacted the manufacturer who responded with the suggestion of buying some 3M glue to resolve the problem (that they would refund the cost of). Sounds like I am not the only one with the issue, and don't want to start spraying glue to resolve a design flaw. Hopefully the manufacturer will address the design flaw in future models.

Love this. More than met my expectations. Easy to install and setup. Using it with a recent iPhone connected wireless without cable. Note that you need to connect your phone by bluetooth BEFORE activating the carPlay and it just works.I found the quality of the audio improved over FM by disconnecting the radio's arial. I can get podcasts and radio via the phone anyway at much better quality.Now have Google Maps, Deezer music and other apps though the radio with no cables other than the power to the unit. The CarPlay interface is so much easier to use than just the phone and having track details and maps on screen at the SAME TIME is brilliant.Definitely worth the money and significantly less hassle than installing a new head unit.Have installed in my Motorhome but considering a second unit for my car!

I have a car that doesn’t support CarPlay as it is an old car but thanks to this device and an adapter that allows me to connect it onto my CD Player so that I can legally use it, my car can now make use of CarPlays features. I also got a UPS so that when my car is powered off I can still have my CarPlay device on to play music or to even set my destination and receive phone calls and text messages. Great product!

0 starsThe only feature that your going to use is apple carplay or andriod auto. The other features your never going to use.The 3M glue was such poor quality.And the device falls of the holder when driving.Don't waste your money

Good add on AppleCar screen if you’re car hasn’t got one built in. Had problems with wireless connecting the screen. Contacted the Chinese manufacturer who were very helpful and even sent me new firmware. Still had problems so used the wired connection. After an iOS up date, tried the wireless link with success. Connects every time now. CarPlay is as good as always with the usual apps.Recommend screen if you want car play.Well worth the price.

I brought this for my car which has no electrical devices apart from my radio. The device itself is great, it works for me. It’s basically a big SatNav with phone connectivity for Google Maps and Spotify use.However, the stand that the device uses is not great. It fell off my car window and broke. I had to buy myself a 3rd party device holder for it.If you are looking for a device to make your car seem advanced. Then this is for you. However I would personally buy another device holder to make sure it’s sturdy.
