I was so excited to get this however:1) I ordered an UNLOCKED phone and the one shipped to me was clearly labeled for Verizon. Right I'd give it a try anyway. No dice.2) the "flash" light on the back will not turn off.3) arrived dead, charged overnight to 100%, spent an hour updating the software, battery already at 50%.Highly disappointed, sending in for a refund

Its an iphone with siri! Love her! I easily switched my crappy cricket LG 90 over to the phone by just inserting my sim card and transferred my data using the copy my data app. For under $80 why would you buy anything else? It works great and does everything . I am LMAO at my friends over face time who paid $700 for their iphone and over $100 a month for a service and data. Theirs doesn't do much more than my $70 refurbished 4s.

After about three weeks of use, I noticed the battery running out very quickly. Now, sometimes it goes from 68% to dead instantaneously, and sometimes it will stay on 1% for hours.I know it was refurbished, but I didn't expect the battery to fail that quickly. I'm disappointed, to say the least, and the phone is no longer eligible for return.

I bought this refurbished iPhone 4s for $100 and bought a 30-day phone and Internet plan in Spain for €30 (ab $35 or so). Best thing I did.I was advised to buy the plan from Movistar because some of the other ones are limited to a few regions. I was able to call over Spain. It was priceless when calling for directions, reservations, attractions, Whatsapp, email and Google etc.The best plan I got from my US provider (ATT) was $10 per day (24 hours). I did have to activate a couple of times to handle bank business, but mainly used my US phone for camera and kindle.I also think that an older phone might not be so appealing to petty thieves. Tho I did take out the 6+ to take photographs. At least no one tried to snatch the 6+ out of my hands. (S/he might have come back for my finger!! (Touch ID :)One star removed because it getsVERY hot when using it for an extended period and when being charged. I'll try to find out if this is "normal" when I return to US. Buying a refurbished phone for travel made sense for me.

i dont know about all these other reviews, but refurbished means its NOT new! there will be scratches, there will be minor dents or dings, its refurbished! i had no problems with my purchase, bought it for my daughter, synced it over no problem. checked battery life on a charge and on a drain such as a game and it works just fine, the phone in its entirety is exactly that, an iphone 4s, refurbished. great bang for the buck! The one thing I had to replace was the cheap charge cord.

I was wrong, I took this to the Apple store, because I thought it needed a new battery. They showed me how to put it on "Airplane mode" since I am not using it as a phone. They also helped me set the settings so that it is not on all of the time. They did a diagnostic test on the battery and showed me the battery was fine, it was just my settings that were making the battery run down fast. So I do not use this as a phone, but rather as a way to have my music. My car stereo died a while back, so I listen to this phone in the car, and while I am on my fast 1.7 mile walk.

I bought this phone and I sent it to my sister in venezuela and she can't use it because IT'S NOT UNLOCKED. How can I solve this?

Bought two of these may 2017, one for me and one for hubby. They seemed great at first, then battery drained really fast and almost immediately after the 90 day warranty expire really problems started. One had the power button break and would intermittently lose volume on any kind or video. the other would jump battery percentages (both up and down), randomly power off, there was a week period where I could only talk to someone on speaker phone or they couldn't hear me despite all resets I tried. We finally gave up. $20 more got a new blu phone that doesn't glitch like there's no tomorrow and will last longer than 3 fully working months.
