Plug new one in, slide lock switch, and install wires in same slots as the old one. Issue fixed and saved a great deal of money by not having to call a sprinkler repair company. Review: High quality, solidly built - Plug and play. Yes, the whole controller is designed to get more money from you. These are really just a plug with wire terminals. Everything else is already included in the controller. It would have been cheaper for them to make the controller with all the zones possible up front. This replacement part design seems to be made for a few models of Hunter controllers, but it fit and is working fine. For my controller this part didn't have the locking tab, but it fits so snuggly that shouldn't be a problem. It also, has an "extra" terminal on the top that my controller doesn't need.
