So, figured might as well just get a new battery for this aging dinosaur and see if it works. Computer is fine outside of, well, the battery issue. Old HP. Most of you do not even have cars that old. I will say, follow the instructions and it does work. Fits in nicely, does what it is supposed to do. Does it last as long as the factory battery did? No. But, fully charged, I do get about 2.5-3 hours of time to sit outside with it working just fine. For this price, worth it. Hope it does not go bad in a few months but for the price, I'll risk it.
