I got an Oase Biomaster Thermo 350 canister filter (purchased from desertcart). It has a built-in water heater, and also has a pre-filter which catches debris before it can get into the rest of the filter. The pre-filter is easy to remove and clean, which takes about 15 minutes. I clean the pre-filter once every two weeks. A: No, this is a tank only, as pictured.

**Q: can anyone give me the name or link of a lid that would fit the 55 gallon tank?**
A: The Marineland LED Aquarium Hood and the Tetra LED Aquarium Hood in the 24 x 12 size will both fit this tank. You will need two of them. If you do not want the plastic full hood style, then the Marineland/Perfecto Glass Canopy in the 48 x 12 size will fit it and you can purchase lights separately, per your actual requirements. I.E. planted tank needs lighting that is 6500 k. For more help, call 1-800-526-0650.

**Q: does this have black silicone? What are the exact dimensions? I'm looking to buy a cabinet that is 47 3/4 inch wide, will that fit?**
A: Black silicone, and the dimensions are 48-15/32 L X 12-27/32 W X 20-13/16 H inches.
