This is one of the best trimmers we ever had. We use it to cut our dog's hair. We had three Pomeranians and their feet, stomach, and back end would get trimmed with this razor. Battery life is outstanding so no need to stop to plug it in. The size and shape fit my wife's hand perfectly. We had the clipper for quite some time but didn't ever have to sharpen the blades. The reason for getting another one is my wife was trimming the dog and something spooked it. The dog took off knocking the clipper in the air to come back down on cement garage floor. Not to say they were built weakly in fact it was just the opposite. The case broke in a couple of places so we decided to buy a new one. It's worth it's weight in gold. Hope everyone likes theirs as much as we do ours.

I have a goldendoodle and have never groomed an animal before. These things work great. There is a guard that comes with them and I was able to trim my dogs hair pretty well (and it didn't look like a small child giving a haircut to a doll). Some of the matting in the fur was hard to get through the guard, but I was able to gently pull these into the trimmer section. Overall, they worked really well. I am hesitant on using these on my dogs feed and around her face, but they work really well and it's saving me some money from getting her routinely groomed. I am glad I bought these.

I dropped it on the ground and the razer blades broke. no big deal. or so I thought....I tried to contact Wahl and they are not available online, via phone, or via email.I dont know if its the coronavirus or what but these people are nowhere to be found.I just need to know what replacement blade to order.try finding the right blade with confidence its the one you need? good luck with all their model #s, product#s, sizes, etc etc.

Have used twice for short period of time. Second time I used had to used plugged into power. Charged for 16 hours after that use turned on to trim around a wound on my dogs ear after charging for the 16 hours battery did not last even 2 minutes to trim ear. Very disappointed for the price I paid.

Used product to groom a Yorkshire Terrier. Cut well, no problem cutting through the fur.

I returned this product within the first 30 days (under guarantee) because it did not work with my dog. The quality of this product was excellent, but my dog has a very tough coat and I ended up returning this for a professional grade clipper that would work better with my dog.Pros: Does not actually loose power when on battery power, Battery lasts the full cycle of a groom, Unit does not overheat quickly like with other clippers, Price is excellent, You can still use the clipper on the charger.Cons: Not always excellent for use with dogs with matted or heavy fur coats

I have long haired Australian Sheppard/Boarder Collie mixes. If I don't keep up with hair on their back side, it will get knotted and matted. In the last 5 years, I must have bought at least 3 sets of clippers that were just horrible from the beginning! With these, I was not only able to groom them correctly but they have continued to work wonderfully! Bonus was they didn't brake the budget either!
