We honestly bought these for a weird purpose,kind of. We bought these for our doggy seatbelt in the back of our cars. He always sipns around the entire time we're in the car in the back seat, so when he's buckled, he ends up getting his leash so twisted up that it's almost impossible to get it off of his harness. There's been a couple times that we've had to take him out of the harness to unwind it to get him undone.All that is behind us though with these new clips. We were able to attach an extra one of these to the leash seatbelt thing and now he can spin as he pleases in the car or roll around, and the belt does not get all wound up. Therefore, he can actually get to the windows the entire trip because his leash doesn't keep getting shorter (apparently our dog is not an ambi-turner).All in all, these do work well. They spin nicely and aren't tough to spin at all. I can honestly see these being useful in many areas you need some spin room, whether hanging plants or something like just adding a spinner to the end of a regular walking leash so it doesn't bunch up if your dog goes crazy and spins incessantly. Anyway, great product. They feel high quality and that they will last for a long while. It was nice getting four of them as well since we now have one to go with our separate dog belts for our cars.

These snap hooks were bought to be added to the ends of a halyard that I had trimmed too much. The halyard is now too long if anything. The worst part of installing them was selecting the proper knot.Would have only bought two if that had been possible. Now glad I got four; the extra two are tied together with a very short piece of halyard and I can now fly two flags without adjusting hooks.

These are good quality clips, although they didn’t work well for what I needed. I use these clips to secure a small water pail to my dog’s crate. I like a smaller diameter so it holds the pail more tightly and doesn’t allow it to move around as much. These are larger in diameter, which would make them perfect for other jobs but not quite right for me.

Nice snap hooks. I use them with  Country Brook Design 5/8 Inch Red Heavy Polypro Webbing, 25 Yards  to make leashes for my dog. The webbing wears out but the snap hooks last for YEARS. I just tie a veteran snap hook on a new piece of webbing whenever needed. With multiple snap hooks I can make leashes of different lengths.The polypropylene webbing seems kinder to my hands than nylon webbing.

I bought it to use for scuba diving. The caption says "Superior Quality", "coating", etc. After just one dive in salt water, the bolt snaps are rusted. This makes them dangerous to use - they will just get stuck, and the rust will propagate to other parts of the gear. If you are going to do anything remotely related to water, especially salt water, it's definitely not for you. Returning or just throwing away.

I use theses to make Training Leashes for dogs, they work very well.

Very solid and sturdy. Should last many years on the dog’s leash. Would buy again.
