The sheath has a horizontal button strap. What is it's purpose?

Just received my order of two units. Quality knives, but need some honing. What is the proper sharpening angle?

Hand made knives do not share a common angle grind however they are consistent on each one. I’d use your angle adjustment to fit the shortest path and lock it in and hone the entire blade making it easyer to maintain. If you hand sharpen as I do use a clean stone and listen for the tale tale sounds

Why is it so difficult to contact customer support?

I bought 6 and had no issues. The only issue I had was sharper than a razor blade.
