Moen 100107 Protege Side Spray, Chrome

Unfortunately this was not the right part for my particular Moen product but it was a great price and great service from wonderful Amazon. The product was an open package but the item had not been removed and everything was brand new. Warehouse deals are really helpful. If someone needed this particular side spray I would highly recommend the quality of the product and the service and the price which is about half what it is on the Moen website.

Replaced with identical sprayer (brand, model, etc), and now it has a weak spray.I assume it's defective.I need it replaced.

This was a replacement for an after market replacement sprayer for our Moen faucet. These things are never an “easy peasy” repair, but this was identical to the original sprayer that quit working. Fit like it was supposed to and if you have a Moen faucet without quick connections, this is probably what you need. Make sure to read the description and check your connections before you order, because ours is an older faucet without quick connection. I believe some of the newer faucets have the Moen quick connect.Also, just a bit of helpful advice which is not stated in the instructions, use some Teflon plumbers tape on the threaded connection at the faucet. I did not and had to take it all apart and wrap the threads and reassemble!Yes I would purchase this item again. It was a bit more pricey than I wanted to spend, but it is a Moen OEM part, soooo. Hope this helps.

It works as I expected. Connected easily to my old faucet and has given me no problems. I'm happy.

Wow, this thing really stinks! I read a few bad reviews and saw some good ones. Never sure if the bad ones are exaggerated or from people who don't know what they are doing. Sadly, they did not exaggerate and apparently are smarter than me! There is nothing, I mean NOTHING chrome about this unless its a color. Its very cheap plastic--I was expecting a "fake" metallic material, but it was not. Very disappointed in the quality. Also, the term "Universal" has a completely different meaning I guess, this will not work on my Moen faucet at all. I was hoping to use the top to replace mine without the hose, but no--this the top does not screw off for a replacement (my base and this top are both male threaded) so no Universal application here either. Overall junk, truly, do not purchase this item. Don't make the mistake I made and think the other negative reviewers are mistaken.

Our Moen faucet set is only about a year old yet this "universal" replacement is completely incompatible. The fixture on this is a screw attachment whereas ours is a slip on attachment. If you have a screw attachment perhaps the product will work. But it is not "universal."

This was a replacement purchase for another Moen that developed a crack and was leaking after 12 years of service. I loved the first one because it had impressive pressure and could spray stuck on food particulate off of almost anything. It was white and didn't really match the Moen faucet or other hardware. I ran to the nearest hardware store and picked up the only available (off brand) sprayer they had and installed it. It had no pressure and couldn't even match the faucet's pressure, so I returned it and searched high and low to find a Moen replacement like my old one. I finally found one on amazon in chrome that matched the rest of the sink hardware. I ordered it and it showed up the next day (Awesome!). I installed it and was surprised to see that it lacked the pressure that my first one had even though they were that same exact design, other than the color difference. Even though the pressure isn't the same...it is hands down better than the other crap out there and has way more pressure than the first replacement I tried. Still, the pressure difference is disappointing and I would love to find a replacement that can match my original.

Was delighted to get a real metal sprayer as I'd been buying the plastic ones & they'd break as fast as I got them on the sink. This is a good quality sprayer & should last a long time. It's cheaper in the long run. Thankyou Moen! Joanna.
