Decipher Star Trek Trouble with Tribbles Booster Box

Unlike the other reviewers, I knew going in what I was getting into when I bought this. I purchased this box because I never got a chance to get them when they first came out. I also knew that the packs are assorted by a machine. So I knew that I was not going to get all of the cards right off the bat. I just wanted the fun of tearing open the foil packs, and seeing what I would get. If you're looking for specific cards from this deck, you're better off buying them single on the after market. If you're looking to have some fun opening up packs. This is definitely the way to go.

while I am loathe to give anything "Star Trek" a less than perfect score, I did so here only because this 'set' of ccg cards is in fact a hodge-podge of other sets with only a few cards about the actual title on the box mixed in. (mostly DS9)

Buyer Beware: Now you'd think that you'd get a full base set if you're buying a sealed box of card packs, but NOPE! Not even close. There are over a dozen cards that I don't have like Captain Kirk, most of the main characters that a fan of the series would actually want...maybe if I buy a couple more boxes, I'll have a full set (yeah right). Lots of stupid doubles, though! Thanks a lot Decipher! Maybe you should've put "Not a full set" on the front of the box and saved me the money and disappointment. Also, possibly the worst Star Trek Expansion set. Like anyone cares about the Tribbles episode or Tribbles cards that much to base a whole expansion set around it. Lame...

A classic card game indeed. You do not get the whole set of these these are in the traditions of Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh and other cards but you do wind up with some really awesome game cards. I have been collecting a lot of vintage Star Wars, Star Trek and other nerd and geek collectibles and games for a while now. I have to say I love this game. It is just fun to collect but I am learning how to play too. This is a gem among Star Trek games which is no longer in production unfortunately. However, I have always been a sucker for the Tribbles and I had to get a box set. I am a big Star Trek fan and I have always loved Tribbles. Some of these if used properly can really do some crazy things to an opponent.
