5'9" at 165 lbs. I usually wear a medium. I prefer slim fit as my shoulders are rather wider than my trunk. I first ordered this in a medium, but it was just a bit tight. My "love handles" and "bit of belly fat" were noticeable. So, I returned it and got a large. The shoulders fit as they should and while it hugged my torso, it did not cling to my objectionable excess weight of about five pounds. It's always that last five pounds. Anyway, the quality is quite good, I love the light green and it was suitably warm in 70 degree weather. It is now one of my favorite long sleeve tops.

Then this henley is the one for you!Just the right tight and not the wrong loose, Amazon Essentials always delivers.I'm 5'7", around 160 lbs and I like to workout so normally I wear a Medium in most shirts, I got a Small instead.I know it's already slim-fitting but with this brand, they run big so I've noticed to get that nice proper slimmed down look, you need to size down.Some pros for you guys:- The material has a nice feel to it especially with the waffle thing going on and isn't too light or too heavy. Just a very good weight to it.- The length is also perfect for someone around my height.Not too short or too long (I took a picture with my arm raised so you can see where it lands).- The sleeve width is just how I like it where it hugs the arm but doesn't restrict any movement especially when I pull the sleeve up (since it's cotton, it's gonna stretch anyway until you wash/dry it) and doesn't have too much fabric hanging when I bend over or crouch down which is what I often look for (some brands just have too much and makes you look like a sloppy bum).- The underarm has enough room to not rub your armpit when moving around either (rashes are no bueno).Just know that since it's cotton, it might shrink up a whole lot after drying but if you do it on a low setting or hang it up right after, it should be fine.All in all, I just know what to expect from the Amazon brand and they are always an awesome value for the price. I had to knock a star off for the buttons being misaligned but I let them know and they sent me a replacement for free which is something I've never had to do.I took a few pictures just to help you out with making a great decision! :D

Love the material and colors are bright

I had to order these for my hubby who desperately needed new shirts because the old ones were almost threadbare. Obviously, he doesn't like to get something new unless the old one is completely useless. But he likes these and they are very soft and seem durable.

Was a little skeptical ordering but pleasantly surprised with material. Very comfortable and material is soft. I wish the body could be a little longer as I am 6’2” 200 and it just reaches my pockets in my jeans.
