Blue ‘carbon’ vinylIt seems like a quality vinyl that will last a long time. But as you can tell from my picture, it’s not very realistic looking. In person, you can hardly see the weave pattern and it’s considerably too light a shade to pass as actual blue Kevlar. I’m gonna use it anyway and see if it looks better once install, but as is, I’d advise buyers consider a solid or metallic blue from this company instead of a weave pattern.I’d give this one 3 starsBlack ‘carbon’ vinylHere’s where things get better. When placed on my actual carbon fiber hood, it looks amazing! Very realistic! In person it’s slightly darker than the actual carbon fiber, but it’s VERY VERY close. If you’re wrapping a part that doesn’t adjoin actual carbon fiber, this will be convincing until you look closer. This one, I’d give 5 stars. I doubt you’ll find a more convincing black carbon vinyl.

First of all there is nothing wrong with this vinyl wrap. It does the job and looks amazing. The problem is that this specific wrap is ONLY meant for interior use only. If you want to wrap your exterior or your car then you will need to get a different one. The picture attached is my mirror I wrapped and first time it rained it ruined the wrap because water got into it. So if you are wanting to wrap the exterior or your car then you will want to buy a different one that’s meant for exterior. I am having to return this product because i need to wrap the exterior. Hope this saves you some trouble.

Awsome looking wrap for custom UTV dash panel

The media could not be loaded.  I've ordered several of these rolls from Vvivid and so far I've been very satisfied. I'm at a stopping point for the moment in my car and needed this roll to stop but this one came sort of a brown hue and doesn't have the luster of the rest I have. It's supposed to be the same cause since the first roll I've reordered where it says "Buy it again".So far I've been pretty satisfied but now I'm apprehensive about the next rolls. I still have more to do and my truck to do yet but if this will be a problem I might go with 3M, Avery or something else.

The q60 have this silver carbon I like and I wanted it but couldn't find it anywhere for the q50 it's always the black carbon. But I came across this and decided to wrap it my damn self and look at it. Looking like it came from the dealership lol

Easy to apply bit next morning it looked like fadded in center didn't check the next day but i will check and update this.

I was not very impressed with this vinyl. It is touted as one of the best looking glossy carbon fibre vinyls available, however I found it to be rather flat and there isn’t any apparent texture to the weave, just flat blocks of black/grey. It really depends on lighting, but in bright light you really only see the ‘orange peel’ gloss finish, in the dark you don’t see any real CF weave pattern, only in indirect/diffused light can you see the CF and only during those times is it impressive.I also encountered problems with the install. Needing a straight cut to line up the vinyl on a trim piece, I decided to use the rolls pre-cut straight edge to avoid needing to make my own cut. This worked great until the following day when it appeared that moisture or adhesive had somehow wicked into the weave creating darker ‘blocks’ - see attached photos. I cleaned with alcohol prior to install, used light heat and a squeegee to apply, so this should not be attributed to user error. The vinyl is also supposed to be thick, but did not completely cover the hex pattern on the underlying trim. As a result of these issues I had to use most of the roll to re-do several trim pieces and still did not achieve my desired result as the dark patches returned - even after making my own cuts with a clean, sharp blade. This was not great value for money considering this vinyl is almost double to cost of other CF wraps.To sum up - if you plan to have any exposed cuts or inlays with this vinyl, be aware of the issue I encountered with dark patches appearing and consider an alternative. This vinyl is otherwise good if you are able to tuck or cover every edge and are only working with smooth, flat surfaces.
