One of the plastic clamps broke and the inner flange split from age. In my opinion, terrible design. I drive a 2002 Dodge Durango 4.7L for those who are interested in compatibility. I was 3 seconds away from buying a replacement plastic filler neck when i saw this listed on bottom of page under 'related products' and investigated further. Solid metal design. Wont fail like the OE one did. Highly satisfied, and makes my car more reliable because taking plastic parts out of the cooling system is common sense and is cheaper for when you buy new upper hoses since you only will need to buy new hoses and not the entire assembly like sold in most autoparts stores. Upon taking out my old fillerneck it wasn't hard, the plastic was so weak and brittle that it actually crumbled in my hand. Just buy some hose clamps or find some more of those constant tension clamps and install, instant reliability increase.Why risk blowing headgaskets or being stranded, upgrade now and you wont be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement for Dodge/Chrysler design flaw *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2017* Nice product that does exactly what it supposed to. Used this to replace the CRAPPY plastic radiator in-line tee that snapped on a 2014 Chrysler 200 with 25,000 miles and dumped all the coolant out driving down the road. Absolutely horrible design and to top it off, Chrysler wanted $90 for an OEM (plastic) replacement piece with the same design flaw. Two hose clamps and 10 minutes later I had this aluminum piece installed and the problem is solved.Do yourself a favor and use this piece instead to eliminate the plastic filler cap piece used on several Chrysler/Dodge vehicles BEFORE they snap and leave you stranded on the side of the road. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good aftermarket replacement *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2010* Was used to replace the crappy OEM piece of plastic on my 04 Dodge Dakota. Works just fine. (Once I got the right size) One nag is that I had to trim some rubber on the stock radiator cap to get it to fit, but that looked partially like a problem with the cap, not this filler. All-in-all it saves a bunch compared to going to a dealership and buying another chunk of plastic that is liable to just break again.
