Nuby Squeezy Teethe Soft Rubber Teething Toy - Baby Teething Toy - 3+ Months - Peacock

Didn’t buy it for a kid (childfree) but for collecting reasons, but it’s really fun!
I like this bird. He squeaks when he’s squeezed, he looks funny and very extremely derpy, and very cute in all ways. Wouldn’t recommend for babies because it looks a bit thin. Or not even for dogs. Maybe more as a gag gift or something for a Secret Santa.

Bright colors & fun squeak!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. UPDATE AT BOTTOM! Removed one star.ORIGINAL: Another cute teether by Nuby! We also have the vibrating octopus and I’m honestly confused as to why this one is more expensive than that one… But for under $10 this is a cute little toy for your teething baby. My son is 15 months old and likes it, but I’m sure he would’ve loved it even as young as three months old when he started teething. It has a little squeaker inside of it, much like a dog toy, but it’s a cute sound and not too annoying. On the plus side I can hear him whenever he walks around the house with it LOL! The silicone or rubber material Is super soft and easy to squeeze. It’s pretty big even in his hands so I’m not sure a tiny infant would be able to hold it for very long. I think it’s best for 6+ months. I do love the bright colors.I do worry about cleaning it in water because it may get moisture inside of it where the squeaker is. I’m afraid it might get moldy so I’ll update if that happens!!UPDATE: Originally I gave this a five stars review. After having it around for a week while my son is teething hard, I removed one star. He’s simply just not very fond of this toy. He likes things that make noise so it’s not that the squeaky sound bothers him, but I just don’t think it does much for soothing his sore gums. I think this would be a better toy for younger teethers, but for toddlers it doesn’t seem to do much. All he does is throw it, rather than chew on it. He’s getting his second set of molars in right now and I don’t think it reaches that far back for him. Every once in a while I hear it squeak, but that’s usually right before he throws it across the room 😂. He definitely loves the vibrating octopus by Nuby over this toy.

Feels Like It's Old
I was not impressed at all. Looking at the pictures, I was expecting brighter colors and better coloring ... in several spots the painting is on the sloppy side. This feels like the rubber that was popular about 10 years ago, not like the silicone that is popular now. It has that grease or powdering feel like it needs a good washing. Dog toys frequently feel like this. The squeak is annoying. I've never liked squeaky baby toys, and this one is one of the older high pitched ones that can make you cringe.I might buy this at the Dollar stores ... maybe ... but probably not. I would not pay the $10 in the ad.I've bought and used many baby products over the last 30 years as a mom and nursery worker ... I loved the look of the peacock in the ad, but what I received does not look as nice, nor is it as big as the one the baby is holding.Disappointing.

Big, oddly cute, and amuses baby
This little -- I'm not sure what to call it --- is a lot larger than you might think. It is also quite cute in an outlandish, over the top way. I'm not saying even slightly artistic and subtle; more like loud and in your face--- in a very amusing way.Baby likes it, probably in part because it is so outlandish. The noises it makes are kind of fun and baby giggles. So I guess it serves its purpose, whatever that may be. A teether? Sure. But more like an amusing toy that provides some distraction with visual and aural stimulation. What I have trouble with --- and one star off, for four stars final rating --- is the price. I have trouble saying that it's worth the currently listed price. Maybe half of that.Hardly a must-have, but entertaining.
