Great addition to my Christian library

I am half way through the book, I must say it is one of the most powerful weapons of Spiritual Warfare I have read. What I have learned thus far is profound. I am only on the chapter of the gift of Healing. When you cannot put it down, there's only one reason, one can't. It's because it's a good read. It is a must for those of us who are walking in the Spirit. More importantly for those who are learning to walk in the Spirit of God. It's small, but like dynamite. Great revelation

I disagree with JD above. God through the Holy Spirit gave Howard Carter the revelation about the gifts, and gave him the mandate to teach on the gifts. I encourage you to to read Lester Sumrall books especially the Life Story of Lester Sumrall, Run with the Vision, Courage to Conquer and Pioneers of Faith...they all tell about his ministry travels with Carter. Very powerful books. So one cannot say anything about doctrine mistakes if you never experienced what Howard Carter experienced years ago. He lived it along with Lester Sumrall. Doers not seat warmers and no action (faith). Great book! Very informative from the man himself! Enough said!

Amazing book that still speaks necessary truths to us about Spiritual Gifts many years after it's first publication . Excellence in the operations of Spiritual Gifts will come after studying this work by Howard Carter.

A very enjoyable book on the gifts of the Holy Spirit of God. Howard Carter spent 30 years of experience researching this work and it shows. Far too many are of a mindset that claims they gifts have gone away after the Apostles died. The truth is there for all with an open mind and not stuck in denominational traditions of man. A great study for those interested in a balanced teaching on a great topic.

Bar-none the best book on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

FINALLY! Someone got it correct! I threw out another book that I bought here on Amazon about this same subject. The man was SO wrong that I couldn't believe that he actually once had a school overseas and in that school he taught on this subject. I thought to myself, "Wow, an entire generation learned the wrong information about this! How sad and misinformed they are!"If ANYONE wants to know about the Gifts of the Spirit, according to what the Bible says in I Cor. 12:8-10, this is THE book to buy. It's easy to understand and it's not only a quick read, but inexpensive.

This book is awesome and is the best Book i have read about the gifts of the Holy Spirit.According to the Bible in 1 kor 12:1 God doesnt want us to be ignorant concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit .The Bible tells us in the Acts of the apostles that God want his church to be supernatural and thats the reason He is equipping by grace disciples with supernatural gifts.This book is about This context.The Author recieved This knowledge concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit on a supernatural way.The knowledge This book can contribute with is excellent and is of big importance for Those who covet the gifts of the Holy Spirit.I warmly recommend This excellent book.

I really liked the idea of the "question and answer". I see it is most suitable in understanding the basics of the gifts of the Spirit.Highly recommended for people seeking to gain fundamental understanding of the different gifts of the Spirit.This book needs only but very little to be added as it is fairly encompassing of principle facts (although all too brief), hence my rating.

Great book pn the gifts. I heartily recommend it. I love the question and answet style. Very helpful and inspiring.
