Original Detangling Brush, Dry and Wet Hairbrush Detangler for All Regular Hair Types, Pink Fizz

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter to use on the dreadlock that forms under her very thick, long, and unruly hair. It becomes so bad that she will stop brushing all of her hair and then I have to force her to let me help which ends in tears for everyone! This brush was a welcome addition to that process! It works quickly on the tangles and is not as painful for her which makes it less painful for me as well. Because her hair is not damaged, we use this after showers when her hair is wet and well conditioned (if your hair is damaged you should not brush it while wet as this is when it is most vulnerable to breakage). This product will not, however, inspire my child to be consistent with her hair brushing. Because her hair is so unruly and thick, these dreadlocks form easily if she doesn’t brush her hair morning and night (if she shaved her head it would stick straight up in a baseball sized circle right on the crown of her hear because that area has around 55 cowlicks, no joke! Even putting her hair into a neat pony tale is difficult because the cowlicks cause it to point in 7 different directions at once). Of course, being 10, she could care less about being consistent as other things are more important to her right now! So, while this product does work great, it will not eliminate the forming of the tangles/dreads, but will help remove them once begun.

I could not recommend the tangle teezer enough, but I’ll try— I once tried this product because my friend had one, and I immediately bought one. The design of the brush makes tangles a breeze to go through and using it feels insanely good on your scalp. Please, buy this! I wish I would have found it sooner. Been using mine for over two years now and it’s still going strong.

I have an autoimmune disorder which causes me to have a lot of ups and downs with my hair. From straight, flat, strong, to what the heck do I do with wavy (boarderline curly) hair and weak, back to being straight with a lot of body. I have been using Tangle Teezer products for the last five years and I absolutely love them. It's strong and gentle. A spa day for your hair. It was time to replace my Tangle Teezer Splash brush. I bought this and it's okay. I am left dominant but right handed. This brush is definitely designed for the right hand. You will see in the pictures how well it fits in the right hand and how awkward it is in the left hand.

Wow this brush is amazing. I don't have hair that is exactly hard to take care of (straight hair) but combing my bed head every morning with the wide tooth comb I was using before *hurt*. Even though I have pin-straight hair, my little sister has very curly hair that was hard to brush or comb through. She would start crying and throwing a fit whenever my mom or me would try to brush her hair for school. But now her and I love to brush our hair, and we do it very often. The feel of the brush on the scalp is wonderful, and its not hard to hold either when my hands are dry. This brush isn't just amazing on people, its great on pets too. I started brushing one of my cats a day ago just to see how he would react to the brush, and he almost immediately started to purr loudly and rub his face against the bristles. He wouldn't leave me alone for about a whole 15 minutes begging for more brushings. Another one of my cats has long hair and struggles to groom himself, but ever simce I started using this brush on him, he has been looking the most beautiful I have ever seen him (and he seems to be happier too). My dog also has long hair and it works great on him too. TLDR: Brush is great. Works wonderfully on human and animal hair. Even if you wouldn't buy this for yourself, get it for your cat and they'll love you for it.

If I called this brush 'llife altering' it would not be an exaggeration! Okay. Well, maybe. :) BUT - is is AMAZING! I have a pack of girls, each needing time in the morning to turn their epic bedhead disasters (what DO they do all night?!) into something socially acceptable. I used to have to do each one, detangler in one hand, assorted brushes and combs in the other - HOURS, I tell you, HOURS per week, including tears, accusations of torture, temper tantrums, and that's just ME. The kids were even WORSE! :D Enter the tangle teezer. I bought one on a whim at a local drugstore. Oh. My. We all stood in awestruck silence. Peace reigned morning after morning. This brush has soft, flexible 'bristles' of different heights that gently push through each layer of tangle, going deeper each time as the tangles are smoothed into submission. The bristles flex, so they don't get caught in snarls and pull the hair - they just glide over them, gently un-snarling them one brushstroke at a time. The BEST BEST BEST part is that the kids can do this THEMSELVES!!! Oh happy day! I just got back at least 7 hours each week! The only fly in the ointment was that I do have that 'pack of girls' so one brush wasn't going to do it for us. At the store, I'd paid about $15 for one, so buying a bunch was going to get pricey. Thank goodness for Amazon! For $8 apiece, I could afford to get one for each kid, plus two 'house' spares to keep in our go-bag, and linen closet. Seriously, it's made a huge difference in our morning routine - every morning - and that's absolutely worth it!

Perfect for gently detangling fine, dense hair.

Vraiment, une semaine après mon achat (toujours top livraison par Amazon très rapide), je suis ravie!! Je suis métisse et j'ai les cheveux défrisés; je les perds beaucoup au coiffage (même avec la brosse denman rouge et noir pour ceux et celles qui connaissent); Je l'ai acheté en rose (mais la couleur n'est pas importante, c'est surtout son efficacité qu'on recherche même si elle est original et les couleurs super flashies!!:)) pour moi et ma filles qui a des cheveux bouclés, super anglaises mais très fins donc ils s’emmêlent très vite, surtout la nuit quand ils ne sont pas attachés. 1ère utilisation sur elle, "cheveux emmêlés du matin" et là MIRACLE: pas un cri, elle adore la couleur et arrive très bien à se coiffer toute seule (5 ans); cheveux démêlés très rapidement, tout doux et brillants! génial! PLUS AUCUN NŒUDS Et pour moi, le top, quasi aucun cheveux après le coiffage, (défrisés une semaine avant), et pourtant j'ai une sacrée masse!!! j'en suis ravie, design et ergonomie très astucieuse malgré les apparences, on se coiffe très facilement... Bref, le top du top!!! n'hésitez pas, foncez, elle est vraiment chouette et efficace.

This is not my first one. That other one has had a lot of use and has started to show signs of wear. Although it'll last a long time yet I wanted to get another one ready for the day I need a new one. Although they might look that way they work really well and I can recommend them to everyone (who has hair😊)
