Exactly what I needed!
Great recipes by an experienced chef.I've had this idea for a while, to experiment with miracle berry to replace sugars so I won't be afraid of desserts. But it's a lot of trial and error. This book did the hard work for me. I will be introducing these desserts to my friends and family. It'll be fun!!

The real problem is not the book itself!
The book is well written and well produced. The topic is fascinating. So I was overall pleased with the purchase. After reading it and trying some recipes, I found there was a basic problem for me in this whole concept. The berry changes the flavor of almost everything! Just as promoted. I normally have several items in each meal, some of which I like just fine the way I have been cooking them for years. The berry alters their flavors, too, of course, which means I end up unhappy with the meal I just cooked! Thus, the berry recipes for dessert are the only ones I would use, eating those low-sugar dessert dishes AFTER the meal when they are the only item affected by the berry powder. Otherwise, all items on the meal menu must be modified before taking the berry. I should add, that although many of the recipes were good tasting, and I was even able to make my own changes effectively, e.g., for baked-beans, a few did not work well for me, like simply eating sour cream "under the influence". That may just be a personal thing. You may be different. On the other hand It does spiff up yogurt flavor, without adding sugar. It is a great party trick. People are amazed!

Amazing
Looking forward to using this cook book. We want to use the berry in our daily lives so we don't need to consume as much sugar but still have sweetness.

Not as awesome as it sounds, but still a good cook book.
I was hoping for many mind altering ways to combine ingredients when used with the miracle berries. I occasionally throw a flavor tripping party for family or friends and thought this book would be a lot of inspiration. Unfortunately, the book is more about cutting sugar from the typical recipes by substituting lemon/lime in most cases. As far as crazy ideas that will blow your mind, there aren't many here. That being said, this would be an awesome cookbook for someone trying to cut back on calories (each recipe tells the calories saved per serving) or sugar intake. The recopies themselves are good solid recipes that are still a little adventurous for most people, but not more than you would expect from another high end chef's cookbook.Overall, it wasn't what I was hoping for, but will definitely get used enough to make it worth having!

Not good for diabetics, or those hoping to stay away from diabetes.
I was really excited to come across the miracle berry and Homaro Cantu, so tragic that he took his life.I was disappointed with the book because most of the dessert recipes include sweeteners, like honey or agave. And it is well know those spike blood sugar levels just like white sugar. So while I believed I would be able to prepare healthy desserts with the aid of the miracle berry the reality is I'll have to come up with my own recipes to make it work. I made a cheesecake, with an almond meal crust and put in about 1/4 cup of lemon juice and no sweetener and then enjoyed it with the miracle berries and fresh strawberries. So, the book will give you some direction to understand how the berry works but to make it really healthy the recipes need tweaking.

waste of money
A) the "berry pills" didn't do a THING for my tastebuds!B) the recipes rely on the "berry pills" working on your tastebuds!C) the recipes are basically normal recipes with lemon substituted in them so the "berry pills" alter your tastebuds!I'm sure he was well intentioned, but this book was a total waste of my money. Without the "succcess" of the "berry pills", I will never use any of these recipes for anything else...they are useless without the miracle berry.Wish I could get my money back...live and learn!
