A friend told me about these on a recent ski trip to Japan. He used them to bring American wine to Japan with him, and to bring Japanese sake and whisky home. All within the appropriate limits on liquor importation, of course! I bought a few and they worked great. No more wrapping bottles in sweaters and hoping nothing breaks or leaks. These bags are GREAT!

I used these bags for two bottles of wine and a wine glass I purchased on vacation. They are super easy to use and really protected my items. I did wrap some clothing around the bags in my suitcase for some extra padding, but I think everything would have been just fine anyway. Both bottles and the wine glass made it all the way home to the States from Eastern Europe with no breakage at all. Because nothing broke I can't really say how well the bags stop anything from spilling out, but honestly I'm glad I can't give that part of the review. Will be using these again for sure.

Bought these for an international trip and they didn’t disappoint . This is an excellent product to use as it truly takes up nominal space and packs easily into your checked luggage. Easy to use and prevented wine bottles from breaking, can’t ask for more.

Great product. Love that you can re-use this. The cushion/absorbable pads can shift when you insert the bottle, so just be sure to pull them back into place.

Great extra item to pack along in case you find a good bottle to bring home. Weighs almost nothing and packs flat, but will genuinely absorb a full bottle if broken. I was flying home a few years ago and a bottle of bourbon got broken in my luggage somehow, but this pack stayed sealed and absorbed about 90% of it. Was able to just throw it away when I got home, no damage to my luggage. These are reusable, and I've probably used the same 3 pack about 15-20 times over the years, still working great. They'll fit a full size Pinot bottle, or a premium cab, odd shaped bourbon and scotch bottles (stuff like High West, Larceny or JW), etc. Doesn't fit short stubby 750ml bottles (Blantons, Old Fitz, etc.) or taller than normal wine bottles. Cheap insurance to protect your luggage. Well worth it. Can also be used for stuff like olive oil, vinegars, etc.

I recently used these bags for international travel. Going I placed glass bottles of US food that my friends had requested. They survived the flight in my suitcase. Coming home I had 2 bottles of wine and jar of jam in my suitcase. The jam jar broke. The JetBag soaked up all the liquid and the contents of my suitcase was fine. The remaining bags are ready for another trip. I highly recommend these JetBags.

I was overseas and needed a way to bring back some wine and whisky, and ordered these bags to be delivered to my local hotel. I've used the wine diaper product before ( Wine Diaper Reusable Padded Absorbent Bag, Eco-Friendly Travel Accessory, Set of 3 ), and these bags seem to be just as good and less expensive (at this time). The bag is a tough plastic lined with an absorbent lining and a recloseable zipper seal at the top. What I especially like about this product is that it also includes overlapping flaps inside the bag, under the zipper. If any leakage does occur, those will tend to keep it inside the absorbent area and act as a backup to the zipper. A couple of tips: one, I write on them with a Sharpie: "TSA please close the zipper". Second, I find that three bottles fit very snugly inside a medium size Ebags packing cube ( eBags Medium Packing Cubes - 3pc Set ), keeping all the bottles secure and together in my luggage. The packing cube also makes it very easy to wrap them all with an extra towel or foam, and to place separately in the interior part of your luggage. That may be unnecessary but I figure it doesn't hurt! So far, six bottles have made it successfully on flights and I have every expectation that will continue. Cheers!
