Little shirt-pocket stove, little price, big performance, big quality
I highly recommend the Coleman Exponent F1 Ultralight Stove. It creates high heat to boil water quickly, yet allows a tiny simmer to keep food warm, and everything between. I have used it in temps down high 30's, and it performed well. The size is perfect for ultralight backpackers or an emergency bag,but it is now my go-to stove for car camping intead of a big stove. Simple is good and easy when packing and cooking at the campground. The Coleman Exponent F1 is best used with pots around 4" in diamter or larger for stability. It is not designed for trail or camp-cups -- too small to sit on the stand.Do not be concerned that there is no igniter -- you will likely have firestarting implement(s) with you (lighter, match, magnesium stick, etc.). These are much more reliable, IMO, than an igniter, and keep costs and stove maintenance minimal. The price is exceptional. This stove will fit in any cook pot or a small pocket. It is made of sturdy metal and unfolds so ealily you can do it in the dark.

This seems to be a great little stove
This seems to be a great little stove, I have not had a chance to use it packing but I did use at home and compared it to a MSR pocket rocket and this just my opinion but the Coleman heated water quicker 4 out of times maybe the MSR has issues but it did not heat has fast the Coleman is lighter it is more stable with a pan of water on it. Hopefully it performs as well on the trail.

It's a fine stove, however there's no "push-button electronic ignition for matchless lighting"
This is a good compact stove that uses the Propane/Butane mix fuel cans. However there is no "push-button electronic ignition for matchless lighting"! contrary to the product description. Should have known it's too good to be true.

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS STOVE!
Took this stove on a four-day backpacking trip in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado and it performed like an Olympic champion. I absolutely love the design--it's sooooo tiny and easy to carry, and you can fit a lighter in the little carry package. Every time I take it apart or set it up I just can't help telling the people around me, "And this is a STOVE!" because it's so compact you wouldn't believe it. I got on Amazon to see if Coleman is still making it, as I would love to purchase another in case they ever discontinue it. Please don't, Coleman, this stove is ingenious and it's a winner! It works great in conjunction with Primus LiTech kettle--you can fit a gas cannister inside the kettle as well as the stove for a perfect backpacking combo.

Avoid it
My Coleman F1 stove operated properly for 3 days of a 5 day backpacking trip in the mountains. It was purchased brand new. The burner head is threaded, and you turn it to lock and unlock the pot support wings. Well, on day 3 the threads seized, and I could not fold the stove. I cut my thumb badly on one of the wings when I tried to loosen the burner head. I contacted Coleman's customer service who took 2 weeks to reply via email, and then asked me to send them 3 photos with a number written across the Coleman logo on the stove. Well, that's impossible because there is no logo on the stove, and I couldn't send a photo of the receipt as I had tossed it long ago. Not a good stove in my opinion. After the runaround with Coleman's customer service, I went out and bought a Primus stove.

Plastic...
Why ruing a good stove with a little plastic part? I tried to remove this little plastic ring to see if i could somehow manage to operate the stove without it.. For my big surprise plastic came out to be very fragile, i broke one of the 3 little holders...If it brakes completely, i'll buy Pocket-Rocket from MSR as a replacement.

Great Stove!
I've owned this stove for a couple of years and I am very happy with it. I just bought another one as a gift for my brother. It's lightweight, heats water quickly (which is all I use it for), and requires minimal (if any) maintenance. The flame is hot and fairly concentrated, which works okay for me since all of my backpacking cooking simply involves heating up water for dehydrated meals and for hot drinks. I considered the MSR Pocket Rocket before buying this, but I am very happy with my purchase of this stove. I am currently using it with the MSR Titan Kettle cook pot.
