Shiatsu Massage Cushion Pad (ZMA-33)

I have three back massagers for chairs, and this is the best one I’ve ever encountered. The fact that the neck massager can move up and down, even to the point where it massages the top of my collar and back bone as well as my neck. It gives me a complete massage from the top of my neck to nearly my tailbone. Other massagers stop at the top of my spine, but do not get to the collarbone area, which is often an achy part for me. I use the massager almost every day and sometimes more than once a day. It alleviate the bodyaches that I get from sleeping on my side. I can’t say enough about how well this massager works.

Massager is easy to set up and move around. Works great for back pain and neck pain. Highly recommend this unit

Seat vibration - I could take it or leave it. I usually turn it off because I just don't really get the point of it. My daughter enjoys it (12 yrs old) and giggles about "tingly bum" every time. So mildly amusing if nothing else. Back Massage- literally cannot say enough good things about it. Features are A+. Kneading motion. Smooth movement up and down. Reached entire spine from tailbone to base of the neck. Subtle heating. Absolutely perfect. I have severe and persistent back pain (caused by mild scoliosis and complications from an epidural) that can take me out of action for days at a time and this greatly shortens that time frame. I absolutely love it. If I use it too much it does get a bit uncomfortable at the point where my spine curves from scoliosis, but I am able to set the position to avoid that specific area when it occurs and is no fault of the device, just my ridiculously problematic body. The neck just.... isn't it. I don't care for the feel of it at all, so i turn that part off. Nothing specific, just generally uncomfortable to use. Not a big deal as I got this for recurrent back pain and don't typically have neck issues. But the problem is it's almost impossible to get it off with the rotating pieces in a position that isn't deeply uncomfortable. When you start it, everything automatically starts all at once. So then you have to turn the neck massage on and off repeatedly until you're able to stop it in just the right spot. Not a deal breaker, but a consistent annoyance.

I can't believe it actually works for different height people! I have several slipped & bulging discs in my neck & back. If I don't get regular massaging, they get super tight and/or lock up. I have tried 2 other back massagers like this one (similar pricing) that said they adjust to taller individuals but they didn't. This one truly does! Not only does it adjust for the correct neck height but it's the deep tissue massage that I've been needing! There are so many options too... all of the back, just upper back, just lower back with or without heat, just the seat with 3 different levels of seat vibration, deep neck massage that can not only be adjusted by height but also can be reversed for best use on different muscle groups. The attached remote is easy to work. Oh, and it can also spot massage anywhere on your back that you choose. I truly love this!! Update: the only thing that I see as a potential issue is that the back can't change width.

I have tried a few similar products and this is the best one. It basically works as advertised. However there are a few dissatisfactory points: 1. I expect the back massage can travel some longer upwards to reach the top shoulder; 2. The seat vibration is literally vibrating the a_s and it is of no use. I wish I could permanently disable it; 3. There is a little pocket on the right side of the seat. I assume it is used for holding the controller. However, the open of the pocket is toward the wrong direction and the controller often drops off to floor. I am afraid that the controller will be smashed soon after repeatedly dropped to the hardwood floor.

I was gonna give this a week before I did a review to give it a proper assessment but unfortunately it didn't work long enough to get to a proper assessments. Pros: - It worked when it first arrived - I suppose it tried to fulfill its intended purpose Cons: - It stopped working after three days - It started grinding and popping while rotating/moving within the first day - The back section stopped rotating and moving on the third day - It doesn't provide much cushion, the balls dig into your back and neck a bit too far - The seat vibration just kinda makes you numb - The ball they use to vibrate the seat isn't cushioned much on or around it so seating positions are limited - The device resets all its settings every time it turns off and it does that about every 15m or so - The buttons on the remote are lazily centered and don't fully light up the name or icon of the function Now I have to figure out how to return this. I never return anything, especially during COVID. Extremely disappointed. I expected it to die at least a few months in, not a few days. Not worth almost 200 bucks. Maybe 20.

The neck massager I find very rough and very stiff not always comfortable

This is the only massage chair pad I've tried and I'm really impressed with it. I love that you can use it on almost any chair you want without needing to buy a full blown massage chair that can't be easily moved. It's lightweight and I can move it easily from room to room, floor to floor. I like that Zyllion is American and is based out of California. The product is actually FDA listed/registered which shows that it is compliant with FDA guidelines. The chair pad itself is very high quality and made from leather from what I can tell. Along with it, you also get a manual and an AC adapter that's cULus stamped for that safety assurance. There's a remote wired to the pad which is how you operate it. In terms of operation, I found it cool that the neck-rest is motorized! Initially without reading the manual, I thought you had to adjust it manually by hand. After realizing it won't budge, I saw on the remote the little up and down arrows. Yes my friends, those buttons move the neck-rest up and down. From the remote, you can also play with the various neck massage modes, back massage modes and seating vibration levels. For the neck, you can turn off and on heating and change rotation of the massager. For the back, you can set which areas you want the massager to work on: the full back, the upper back or the lower back. You can also change the speed of the massager and fix the spot of the massager (kinda like pulling the stopper on a pedestal fan). You can also choose to turn on or off the heat of the massager but I didn't find the heat to be very strong. During my testing, I found that the chair pad works differently depending on the incline. On my sofa, my back is pushed into the pad more due to the angle I'm sitting and thus, the massage force is very high. It feels like someone is pushing their knees and elbows into my back. On my kitchen chair, the massage force is much more manageable and felt comfortable/relaxing. It's too bad the amount of force isn't adjustable. I also found that you need to sit dead center because otherwise, the rotating massaging thingies will dig into your spine which doesn't feel so good. My last minor complaint would be the unit's inability to remember the last used setting. So if you dialed in the spot/speed/rotation you wanted/liked, you have to do it again the next time you power up the unit. Overall, I liked this massage chair pad and it's used regularly by my parents. It's really high quality and I love how easily I can move it. It offers a great massage provided your chair's seating angle is not too sloped and you are seated at the center.

Good back and upper shoulder massage. + Seat vibration very pleasant + back massage has a really good range and you can get right down to the base of spine upper butt with a little squiggling + Neck massager has large height adjustment zone for a great tissue shoulder massage right up to the base of the skull (also good for short wide/tall husband) + 15 minute auto off feature + Zip off neck pad + you can stop the back massager at any point for a good "spot" massage ++++height adjustment on neck massage +/- spot massage only does.about a 2/3 knead, doesn't go full circle (probably due to the way it travels up/down it's full route) +/- I wish the spot button would just restart the back massage when you press it again - the material on the neck massager when the pad is up is quite scratchy - heater doesn't get very warm TIP: the neck massager was a little far apart for me to get a good neck massage....but now I just lean I to one side and then the other and am very happy with my one side at a time neck massage. I really, really like this product and even though it is large it will be replacing my similar styles neck only massager.
