DonJoy Spider Elbow Pad Sleeve

My orthopedic clinic recommended this elbow pad. It provides comfort and protection of the bone spurs that I have suffered from years in the military crawling on the ground.

My son has had multiple surgeries on his elbow and kept having problems. His doctor prescribed this one but we found it on amazon and got it. It offers good protection for the elbow. Many people including elderly ladies on a cruise we took asked about it while he was wearing it. We ordered a large for my son and he is on the skinner side not a lot of muscle tone in his arms but he is 21 now. overall the fit is good for him, it was a tad loose. I washed it by accident and now it fits very securely and tighter on his arm. He could have probably done okay with a medium.

May or may not be a good product, I don't yet know.They indicate a variety of sizes, but no info on determining which size will fit you, so, you guess. I guessed wrong so, instead of relief from pain, I must wait for a replacement to arrive, and go through the hassle of a return ($7.50 return shipping, or drive 1 hr roundtrip to nearest drop off, all becau8se they can't give obviously needed info.Also, once you guess and get correct size, nothing keeps sleeve from sliding down, off your elbow. Every elbow bend it slides down your arm.All for a rather hefty price.

Very comfortable. Helped my bone bruise heal. Does tend to slip off elbow.

Per the doctor, use this to prevent arm from bending in sleep (I wear it backwards) to help constricted nerve in elbow that was causing hand numbness. Not the most comfortable thing, but does the job.

When I opened up the package I knew I was going to return it immediately, the foam is rock hard and thin. I don't see how this would protect anyone's elbows or be comfortable to anyone who has a sore elbow. In the photo, these elbow pads looked like they were going to be nice and thick good protection for your elbows and support for someone with tennis elbow, very misleading don't waste your money and they are pricey.

This elbow pad is more of an athletic pad than a medical one. I purchased it for a red broken skin issue. If you had it, bandaged then fine it would work. The black case is too hard.

Prescribed by my orthopedic surgeon for ulnar nerve issues, this sleeve isn’t as restricting as I thought it would be. I can still bend my elbow when I am wearing it, just not as tight. Be sure to put it on using the larger opening.
