Kate and Laurel Pothos Farmhouse Ladder Shelf, 17 x 64, Gray and White, Chic Multi-Tiered Bookshelf and Deep Storage Bins

This was perfect for our herb garden!! I needed something off the ground so our chickens couldn’t destroy my herb garden as in years past. Because this is meant for indoors, I lined the shelves with coconut fiber that I bought in a roll and cut to fit. I then added the dirt and plants. I also had my husband drill holes in the bottom of each shelf so when watered, they won’t hold water and rot. I bought the little chalkboard signs in addition. I have received lots of compliments and I plan on using this for years to come hopefully. I have had it for about a month now and it has held up nicely to the elements. I do have it under a little bit of an eave so it doesn’t get the full brunt of rain.

Tried to put actual books on it and the metal and wood bent badly. I don’t know that it really holds any weight. May work for just blankets or very lightweight things.Keep in mind, too, that the shelves are quite deep so if you’re hoping people will see whatever you put in there (not books: too heavy), make sure that thing is quite tall, narrow, and very light???

Received the storage bin ladder couple of days ago. The packing was terrible. None of the ladder rungs were attached to the outside frame. I was going to send it back, but figured it would be harder to do that than put it back together myself. Used wood screws to secure the rungs to the frame, after removing the worthless nails that were supposed to be holding it together. However, now that I have it up, it looks good! Using it to store potatoes, onions, things like that. Would rate it higher if I didn't have to put it together.

I am using this outside to hold herbs and plants. It did not say for outside use, but I have it under a covered roofline and it really looks great. It is not put together that well. The two lower middle wood slats were about a 1/2 inch away from the side of the ladder with about 4-6 small nails trying to keep it up. You can see all the nails through the 1/2 inch space. In the picture, they show it holding books, so I figured it could hold plants and dirt. Not great at holding heavy things. I had to reinforce 3 of the 4 four slats with a screw. Not nails, nails make it still turn, try one screw. Anyway, since I'm using it for a purpose it may not be made for, I'm keeping it and trying it. It does look good with plants in it. I like the mix of metal and wood. Just be ready to make some minor adjustments to make it sturdy.

This was delivered today and unfortunately, it had been broken into several pieces in transit. Hubby and I spent the last hour trying to put it back together again. We were successful, but frustrated. We used liquid nails to make it more secure. We would have preferred to have it sent in separate pieces for assembly at home. That would have been easier. But it looks great once repaired

I purchased this for my garden and love it! Everyone who sees it asks where I got it and my husband hates that I tell them because he says "now all your friends will order it and have it too" I don't care, glad I would be glad since everyone loves it. Only thing I wish is that it came with drain holes, but I was able to do it myself!

I’ve owned this for about 2mos now & still love it, with no issues. I use this in my master bath to hold spare towels & wash cloths. This was easy to put together & very sturdy.

I have this in my bathroom with my skin care products etc...it fits the space I bought it for perfectly and looks great. Was super easy to put together and attach to the wall.
