Lisol's Mind Cooking Tool Adds Safe Iron to Food and Healthy Iron Snapper Pack of 2

Made a great Christmas present for my sister who has anaemia.

I put this in a saucepan of boiling water each day and boil for 10 minutes . You can use some lemon/lime juice or vinegar or vit c tablet . Then I let it cool and add some apple juice and drink a tumbler full . You can reuse it easily with a slotted spoon which any grown up will have in their kitchen . I don’t see a need to add it to soups etc but I may do in the future . Have cut off the string because that will get dirty/ sticky . After use I rinse it well and dry then rub in a little coconut oil but any oil will do , wrap it in a little piece of kitchen towel and put it on the shelf next to my cooker . I have not given it 5 stars simply because I have not yet had a blood test to check my iron levels but I am feeling better .

Over priced and one of them already rusted

I have not had good absorption with iron pills, while this source seems to be easily absorbed. I am feeling better after several weeks of use. I do taste the iron in some, though not all, foods and drinks. It reminds me of well water I recall from childhood. The strange thing is that I am enjoying, even craving, that taste, telling me how much my body needs it. I don't understand why people complain about rust. It's iron! At first I followed the instructions for removing rust, which worked, but now I don't bother. I just clean and/or rinse it immediately and dry it; rusting is minimal.
