BissellOEM Lift-Off Multi Cyclonic & Revolution Brush Roll 203-2085

My Bissell 3760-2 vacuum stopped turning the brush three weeks ago. I thought i had to replace the entire vacuum. I really like this vacuum because it has been the best at picking up pet hair since I purchased it 8 years ago.I checked the belt and didn't see that the belt was broken. Whenever i would turn on the vacuum and try to use, there would be smoke coming out where the belt was. I got online and googled this problem and it was suggested to replace the belt and brush at the same time.Amazon was very accommodating in seeing if the brush was compatible with my vacuum. This brush works perfectly with my Bissell and is working like the first day I bought it. I highly suggest buying this brush!Very satisfied customer!

I have a Bissell model 3760-1 that I purchased in 2007.My old roller wore out and stopped spinning easily, so I needed a replacement.I do recommend this roller for a replacement. It does fit the mounts on the left and right sideIt is very close to the original, however, the grooves are off by almost 1/8 (not centered correctly).Because of this, the tops of some of the grooves scrape the housing as it goes around if you use it as-is.You could probably shove it in there and get away with it for a while, but if you want your vacuum to last, the extra resistance isn't a good thing for your motor. This also puts some grooves about a razor blade's width close to the housing. If you vacuum a lot of hair like me, that small width is setting yourself up for issues from clogging hair.I ended up using a small coping saw to make the grooves wider on one side. The roller is solid plastic, and there is plenty of room between the brush and groove to make it wide enough to fit without scraping.So overall this was a good purchase...just needed a little work to fit properly.

Yes, I bought this 2 years ago, and have had problems with it since I tried installing it, but thought it was working ok. Turns out the bar is just a little longer than it should be, causing friction on the end caps. Eventually the plastic melts, and the bar freezes. I tried sanding/filing down the end caps a bit, as well as the guides where it goes in to. Unfortunately that only worked for a little while, now if I try to use my vacuum I'll melt the drive belt AND the end caps, risking something possibly catching on fire. Unfortunately, it now looks like I'm in the market for a new vacuum.

If after changing the belt on your vacuum it has very large roar, then you need to replace the beater bar. This one works great and now our vacuum is quiet again.

This was a perfect fit and easy to install. Works as expected. There is a funny smell from it that gets stronger as it gets hot but goes away quickly. Not exactly the same as the original but good enough to get the job done. Would buy again when need another.
